Quaint little mom and pop roadside cafe. Wifi is excellent. Facility clean and picked up. Staff very nice and attentive. The pie we had was excellent ($3.50). Coffee $1.50. Meal was very good as well as a good value. Breakfast served all day, close at 2pm. Cash only. Bathroom – large HC accessible, clean and picked up with nice amount of light. I would definitely recommend this place. Menu photos as of Aug 2025.

So, it pains me to say this but this place was pretty disappointing. The dining area was frigid and the coffee was like low end Maxwell House-esque. Now, the food itself was actually pretty good. Greasy as all heck, but hot and tasty. If you’re hungry and in this small town, go for it. I just wouldn’t recommend a trek.

My husband and I were visiting the area from SC and decided to try The Cozy Corner Diner. We had the best most delicious breakfast! Service was great and the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting! Highly recommend!

Intoxicating atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Josh was very welcoming and fun. The food was beyond our expectations. I will definitely comeback next time I’m around. Small place big heart.

Had the big breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, home fries) and wife had a blueberry pancake (Frisbee size) and bacon. Everything tasted amazing! It was our first time there after reading reviews and specials posted everyday! Everyone made us feel like we had been going there for years! Will definately be back again!!!!

I wouldn’t trust the past reviews of this place. Going off of the other recent review, it seems that this place was recently bought by new owners, and it definitely shows. The hours online are incorrect. I walked in at 1:40 when their hours online said they closed at 7:30 on a Saturday, and I was immediately greeted by the whole staff sitting in a group, turning with pissed off looks on their face. Our waitress was very rude, groaning when we asked if we could see the breakfast menu. The staff was yelling at each other, and we were told that that was a common occurrence. I ordered a BLT, which was supposed to come with chips and a pickle, and I only got the sandwich. The other person with me got chocolate chip pancakes, which from past reviews said they were huge and took up the whole plate, which wasn’t true, but I wouldn’t say the size was unjust compared to the price. The workers were swearing and groaning and complaining about working and locked the door while we were eating, which we only then realized that they closed at 2, not 5 and a half hours later like stated here on Google Maps. The entire time we felt out of place and unwanted, and to be completely honest if they just told us they were closing soon, we would’ve turned around and left. As someone who has worked food service/hospitality, I understand how frustrating it can be when people come in right before close, but it’s your job to treat them the same as anyone else, which absolutely wasn’t the case from our experience. When we asked to pay, I tried to hand them my card, and they said they don’t take card. What place doesn’t take card in 2024???

Although the food wasn’t terrible, and honestly pretty good given the price, I would absolutely not go back, and I would recommend to stay away from it if you aren’t friendly with the owners/workers, as it seemed the other people in there who were eating were really good friends and close to the workers, and definitely got treated much better then we did. This was hands down the worst restaurant experience of my life, and I would’ve given 0 stars if possible.

Looking at the reviews I see most of them were from the 2 previous owners. The new owners opened the door 2 weeks ago and are still getting their bearings. Any questions, compliments or complaints ask to speak to Lisa so if something is wrong it can be resolved. I’ve had breakfast twice and enjoyed it both times. Not to mention the amazing Michigan sauce and burgers. Let your experience speak for itself
