Delicious food with fresh ingredients. We ordered the spicy cucumber salad, which beat expectations, the olive spread, and halibut. The halibut had a beautiful salty crust and was cooked perfectly. For dessert, we ordered the honey pie, which was light and not overally sweet, and was paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It’s definitely worth checking out.

I would give The Covington more than 5 stars if I could! The decor is simple and elegant, but the food is out of this world. We shared the fish special (meant for 2-3 people) and it was perfect for two of us with big appetites. We also enjoyed the sweet and spicy cucumbers, marinated olives, halibut tartare, and the honey pie. I’m a dessert connoisseur, and this honey pie did not disappoint me!

I now have a new favorite restaurant! Covington has exceptional staff, amazing flavors and combinations, top notch freshness, and is an all-around fantastic place. We actually went back for dinner here during our four night stay because it was that good, and we wanted to try the other dishes. We shared the sweet potato rolls, squash and beans, smoked beets, garden salad, basil and walnut pesto ricotta gnocchi, and mushroom ragu. All were amazingly delicious and presented quickly and beautifully. Both evenings we dined outside at a lovely little side table. This place is hard to beat! I would give it six stars if I could.

Wow! The food is amazing! Hard to believe but the artisan sourdough bread with the spread was indescribably delicious! The smoked beets appetizer was also a taste sensation. The halibut was tasty

What a good find! The food is the best I’ve tried on the island. Above and beyond with flavors and variety of ingredients. I had the seafood homemade pasta that was absolutely delicious. I will be back! Oh, and staff was incredibly polity and attentive, better than average.

Came here for dinner. We didn’t have reservations on a Saturday night but there was a space at a counter for two of us.
We started with the kale salad and the halibut aguachile. Then we shared a bolognese and the nova scotia halibut.

We had a great meal, great wine, and great service at The Covington. The interior of the restaurant was lighter and brighter than The Port Hunter across the street and a little quieter. The food at the Covington was very fresh, with refined flavors, and was presented beautifully. We started with a spicy cucumber salad, delicious, a squid ink pasta with egg yolk and the fresh catch of the day which was exceptional. Our waiter was a young man we recognized from a nearby wine shop and he provided great suggestions for wine and gave very attentive service. While the Port hUnter was a little more of a social atmosphere, the Covington was a lovely place for an intimate, delicious meal.

If you need highlights… The Farmstand Salad was an Heirloom Tomato Salad with corn, cheeses, basil, and pecans and delicious. The bolognese was flavorful and delicate. The Seafood fettuccine was fresh and delightful.
