When we had questions about the preparation of the food, they got the answers. The food, well everything we have tried was amazing.
We sat there long enough for me to finish two beers — about an hour total — and still hadn’t even received my side salad. When I finally saw our server and asked how much longer it would be, she said she had put our order in right away but would check with the kitchen. She returned and told us the printer had run out of paper, so the kitchen never received our order.
What was most disappointing was that no effort was made to fix the situation. She didn’t offer to bring out the salads quickly, comp anything, or even offer an appetizer while we waited. Meanwhile, a table of twelve that had been seated well after us was already being served their food.
After waiting another 20 minutes with no salads and no sign of our server, we decided to leave. This was really frustrating, especially since I’ve had good experiences here before. I hope they improve their communication and service so this doesn’t happen to other customers.
We were immediately seated and had menus and drinks within a few minutes.
Bathrooms were well maintained and had a pleasant fragrance to eliminate any lingering smells or odors. Good job on that.
The eating spaces were inside near a bar area, in an adjacent area where a lot of the patrons had their meals, plus a couple of outdoor areas for those who didn’t need a HDTV or any other distractions.
I must apologize in advance for the pictures because once the salads and main courses came I had already had a few bites, hahahaha. But man ol man! Was the food a solid home run!!
The ribeye was cooked to my taste and the smoke and seasonings were outstanding! I had a bite of my wife’s fried shrimp and broiled scallops and all I could do was say, “Mmmm mmmm mmmm”!
If you’re in the neighborhood of Boonville, MO, you need to make every effort to stop and taste the goodness they bring to your table.
Great job everyone!
Oh, by the way, I was given a military discount on the meal. Any place that does that for our Veterans has my fullest support.
