This place makes great sandwiches. The picture attached is one half of a club I shared with my wife and it was excellent. Order as you go in and they bring it to your table. All of the staff were welcoming and professional. I do recommend the Courtyard Cafe for lunch when you are in Port Townsend.

It was the only place we could find open for breakfast and I am so glad it was, because otherwise we would’ve missed this hidden jewel. The atmosphere is so calm and homey. The service was great. Most importantly the food was delicious and good portions (not too little not humongous). The crepes I had here where the best I’ve ever had. 100% recommend and would stop by if I’m ever around the area again.

Food, service and atmosphere was great. Discount for cash. Bit spendy for a small egg skillet but quite tasty. Would recommend.

This place is pricey for what you get and so we don’t go very often. Half a sandwich will cost you $10 and doesn’t come with anything other than a pickle. We normally get friendly service, but the person working the counter wasn’t nice at all on our last visit. When asked what the quiche of the day was, she came back and said “bacon”. So I followed up with eggs and cheese too? “Yeah, of course”. Ok, what cheese friend? She just seemed so annoyed that we were there. The young guy delivering our food was a dear. Anyhow, we are local and haven’t been back in almost a year. I’d have to guess that is about when we’d return, for dessert to-go. They do have a wonderful selection of pastries, pies, etc.

Have been eating here a long time. Used to be Bread and Roses. Love their turkey cranberry sandwiches. But my last one was a little disappointing. Very little cranberry sauce and it was “jellied” so kept falling off the sandwich. Hope they’ll use “whole berry” next time and I will ask for extra. Cream of broccoli soup was o.k. Tasted like white sauce with a few pieces of broccoli. Their scones are more cake like, not regular tasting scone batter. Decent place to get a sandwich.

We arrived off the ferry from Whidbey Island about 1pm, hungry. The Courtyard Cafe restaurant appealed to our appetites with fresh baked goods and delicious sandwiches. We had a choice to either dine in or out. Inside the atmosphere suited us. We saw a number of tables that the folks were playing checkers while they waited for lunch.

Pregancy food and smell aversion is real. After being let down by multiple cafes this AM for smelling like gasoline, not having specific breakfast items (not their fault), we stumbled upon this place!! Did not let us down. I had the skillet scramble with wheat toast and jam….. so good!!! The veggies were cooked pefectly, and the strawberry jam provided made my heart sing! So glad we found this place, and will definitely come back when we are back in town.
