Close to hospital. The waitress was so kind. She checked on me a few times to make sure I had enough to drink. Great place to eat. I only gave 4 stars for food because the hot turkey sandwich isn’t my favorite, but it is good. I really liked the instant potatoes and gravy. Handicap accessibility ♿️ doors open easily. Bathrooms clean and big enough for a wheelchair.

Made an account just to warn yall! Blonde teen male seeming high. Stumbling around swearing, had a towel around his neck dropped it twice while I watched waiting for my pick up order. Then he was rubbing a table with it. No cleaner. Safety hazard! I left instantly.

Went to the New Countryside Restaurant in Clifton Springs.last night. First time since new ownership took possession and was NOT impressed. Service was lacking and kitchen and staff seemed to be in a disarray! Overheard some orders getting messed up from customers and longer than normal wait times. Our waitress started us out with drinks then was pulled to another station (cashiering), and it wasn’t until after about 5 to 10 minutes and me calling over a young boy working there, was our order taken. Food was bland and not much flavor. I like supporting local businesses as my wife and I live just down the road, but we will not be frequenting this place, unfortunately.

UPDATE 08/24 – went back and tried the chocolate chip pancakes again – they are back to being hefty & huge again! A must try if you like pancakes!
Update* 06/02/24 – Had a full stack of chocolate chip pancakes today with a side of home fries. I’ve had them both multiple times before. Today, the pancakes were smaller & thinner & the side of home fries were very skimpy for $6.95! The side plate wasn’t even full. Very disappointing to say the least.
Not to mention the ice water had a terrible taste. I think I may be done with this place for a while. What a shame!
Love this place! Food is always good and portions are very generous. The beer battered fish fry is usually outstanding (we order it crispy). Staff is always friendly and efficient. Sunday we take our granddaughter there for breakfast or lunch. The waitress remembers us and our drink orders.
Met the owner (Brian) on our first visit and he was very personal with us. He gave the wife & I free dessert.

Extremely friendly staff. Clean comfortable environment. Country music for ambiance. Plenty of seating. Clean rest rooms with changing tables for infants. Restaurant Style Fare not real fancy.

Bring it to attention of waitress.she says not surprised.younger owner has zero personality.takes your money and is afraid to ask how your meal was

This is about the breakfast. It was horrible. We love the lunch & dinner menu as that food is awesome. However, breakfast? That’s another story. The home fries were literally black, hard as rocks & temp was very cool. I got hash browns instead, terrible… they’re like McDonald’s hash browns. But have to say, McDonald’s are so much better than these. They were also very brown, crispy, towards the burnt side. Only warmed up,
“not hot” by any means.

The only item that was hot, were the eggs. Sausage patties were just warmed up, tasted old. Toast was ok, I guess.

I ordered the trash platter and it was terrible. The burger wasn’t cooked right, the Mac salad was very wet and not good, the beans tasted like they were just poured out of a can onto the plate, the meat sauce was dry and tasted like dirt. The best part was the sweet potato fries ( for an upcharge) and the chopped onion and mustard on top. The waitress said she would comp part of it (I didnt ask bc, it’s what I ordered) but she never did. My brother said his food wasn’t great either. The waitress was super nice until I said the food was terrible and I felt sick and then she was combative and rude.
