Tried this wonderful little new diner for the first time this morning! Firstly, I love how chipper everyone is! I’m not a morning person, but these folks were enough for both of us! Secondly, the food is scrumptious! Their homemade white and wheat bread, sliced thick is comfort food for sure! The egg scramble is perfection, potatoes are soft, the eggs are fluffy, and I got ham and peppers and onions in mine.
Those sweet potato pancakes are out of this world! Tender and not too sweet, they taste like a cinnamon donut from childhood! We will definitely be back! Not only for breakfast but to try that lunch menu!
Request Karyn for the most amazing and friendly service around!

Don’t let a few negative Nancie’s prevent you from trying this gem. The food is fresh, and delicious. The service is great and very friendly. A nice little family run business . Very clean. Portions are omg huge. Loved everything about this place and definitely will be back ! I will also tell all my hotel guest about this place too 🙂

This restaurant definitely has a family-run vibe, and as such we like to be supportive of small businesses; however, this was tough.

We went on a Sunday and they were busy. We waited about 15 minutes to get a seat and then once we ordered our food it took nearly an hour for us to get our food.

This could have been overlooked if the food had been worth the wait. Unfortunately, it was not.

The coffee and the homemade toast was good. The potatoes were dry, stale and bland. The burrito was bland but ok. All-in-all, not worth a 1-hour wait for food. We also had to keep asking for things like coffee refills and a fork missing from the serving set. We ended up leaving more food on the plate than we ate after waiting over an hour for it.

The place in general seems slapped together in a hurry. Nothing finished. Paint and molding incomplete. No real signage for the restaurant. Confusing entrance from the parking lot.

The more egregious issues we had with the restaurant is that they had two children working there as well. Not just seating people and cashing people out, but cleaning tables and serving food. We also saw (not once but twice during our visit) one of the adults that seemed to be in charge drop a towel on the floor, then pick it up and put it back on top of the other clean towels that were used later to wipe the tables.

Unfortunately, we can’t recommend this place until they fix these issues.

There was a bit of a wait before being seated on a Saturday morning. There are about 15 tables here. The decor is sparse but meaningful. The restaurant was clean and so was the ladies room. My eggs were perfectly cooked and it seemed like I had at least 1.5 cups of hash on my plate which was delightful and crispy on the outside. It seems like they use margarine on the toast because it never really soaked into the bread. You might be able to ask for real butter. The coffee cups are generously sized. Even though I couldn’t find it on the menu, it seems the imelets are served with choice of potato and toast. They serve lunch starting at 11. Good portions=good value. They offer gluten free pancakes.

If I could give more than five stars in would. Karen is amazing, great service, the best food. They make you feel like family. This morning they found out one of their regulars would not be coming in anymore due to health issues and they stepped up and took care of us, like a caring aunt would for a family member. They went above and beyond. Much love from the Saunderson family. Rob, Sam, Angelica and especially Carol.

Went for breakfast. Sat quickly, waitress was quick to take the order and then the wait. Three regular breakfast food item and it took 40 min to get served. The atmosphere was nice but the wait time between order and food delivery needs some work. Food was good and hot. If they could shorten the wait time, this restaurant could be in my top 3 private breakfast locals. Will try this place again. It will give myself more time to wait and hope they get their rhythm down.

Highly Recommend! Party of 2, a Wednesday abt 11am, ample parking, street level entrance, no steps, handicap accessible, didn’t know if we were to seat ourselves or wait to be seated as no one greeted us and there were no signs. After asking a waittress of which she was apologetic, we seated ourselves. This restaurant is fairly new and kinks always have to be worked out in the beginning so we let this slide. They were BUSY. Open seating arrangement only tables, no booths. Conversations carry as there are no buffers or overhead music. With that said, our server Amber was very friendly, fun, and attentive! We both ordered the same meal, the Veggie Omelet comes with Toast & Homefries. My variation was with both swiss and feta cheese. Food arrived promptly within 15min. was perfectly cooked and very delicious. Definitely recommend this new restaurant!! Great Food!!

We really loved the fresh baked white bread/toast! And the breakfast potatoes were quite good also. Oddly, the sunny side up eggs were very “rubbery” (2 orders of them at our table). Unfortunately, it was really cold in the restaurant, and that’s just a show stopper for us. Most people in the restaurant were wearing their coats. It took pretty long for our breakfasts to be ready, some of our items were barely luke warm.

Very unassuming place with a very friendly staff. I asked for my eggs over medium and the cook nailed it. For some reason, nobody in this world knows how to cook over medium eggs.
