Feel good food – a piece of Americana in the Heartland! My family always has breakfast here when we come to Lafayette. You can’t go wrong with any of the skillets. Michelle took great care of us and everything was delicious. Definitely recommend having breakfast here if you are staying at one of the hotels on SR 26.

Tried this place for the first time this morning. I had the chicken fried steak and it was great. The gravy was nice and creamy and the chicken fried steak was nice and crunchy. The portions were nice as well. 2 eggs, toast and potatoes came with it, all for under $10. Reminded me of how places used to serve it but very few do these days. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back again.

This is a solid place to grab a simple breakfast or brunch. I had the country omelette and the breakfast burrito. Both are good meals. Prices here are excellent and the service was fast.

I had the cafe omelet with potatoes and whole wheat toast my husband had the meat lovers omelet with pancakes. Everything was delicious! Our server was very nice even got me a to go cup for my coffee. When we asked for hot sauce for our omelet he suggested their homemade hot sauce and man oh man it was amazing! Good prices we spent around $20 for the both of us and got full bellies and great tasting brunch! Definitely our new go to place!

First time in this place on the way to Chicago. The server was very nice and courteous. It seems they know how to treat their customers. But the food we ordered was typically using cheap ingredients. But we had good time in there.

Usually like to come her but today seemed like she was annoyed and the were out of fries which 2 of 3 people in my group is all they wanted and wasnt informed ahead of time so had ordered drinks. When i was informed they were out we decided we werent going to eat there but was still forced to pay $3 per drink when we didnt even drink the drinks. Food prices are good here but being charged $3 for items when you dont get a service is ridiculous.
