The U.S. flag displayed outside the patio is torn and damaged. According to the U.S. Flag Code, flags in this condition should be replaced rather than displayed. Sharing this for awareness.

They were accommodating to our stroller. The food came out quick & hot. The only reason they are rated 4 instead of 5 is because the service was a bit slow but they were also busy so it’s understandable however maybe they should hire a few more waitresses

Fun bar. Mostly a younger crowd when I went later at night. Affordable drinks. There are multiple bars in this establishment and they will make one side louder than the other which is nice so if you want to dance you can do that or if you want to converse you can also do that. 10/10 I’ll be back. I look forward to trying the food next time.

The burgers are really good! I enjoy the free popcorn and peanuts, it really adds to the cool atmosphere of the place. We tried venturing to other areas of the menu but were rather disappointed with the results – but still would recommend coming here for the burgers and drinks!

Little bar in down town Crystal lake. Good vibes, the staff always takes care of us.

I had their prime rib sandwich on Texas toast with mozzarella, no horse radish sauce but a side of their creamy ranch, and they’re seasoned fries. Meat was tender and juicy. Sandwich was delicious, fries were crispy. 10/10 will eat again.

Our experience was nothing short of excellent! Everyone was very happy with their meals. I loved the many excellent side options. The reuben has house made corned beef that was sooo good! The breads all used were great as well. We sat on the dog friendly patio and our server couldn’t have been more attentive. We will be back!

I stopped in for a solo meal and tried the steak and ale pie from the winter menu; very flavorful and the meat was tender.

Definite tavern vibes; you could tell that a lot of the folks around the bar were frequent visitors and had a good rapport with the staff. That made for a friendly atmosphere, but also a bit loud if you’re not part of the group making the noise. Surprise: a pub is like a pub!

We have been here many times and the last few visits we noticed things going downhill. We were there today, it was not crowded. The hostess saw us, with three children and made us wait. There was one other table with diners.
When we finally were seated, the table was filthy, our menus stuck to the table, and the high chair was disgusting and it took the waitress 15 mins to come by our table. Again, we were the second set of diners, no excuses for this. When we got our plates for our appetizers, three were dirty. No refills offered, no checking up on us, and super slow service.
Food was mediocre at best.
Service was terrible.
The place is disgusting. The worcestershire sauce was absolutely repulsive, all condiments sitting out in the direct sun is a recipe for food poisoning.

Suffice to say we will not be returning.

I rarely leave reviews, but my recent visit was so disappointing that it needs to be said. The staff on duty were clearly doing everything they could to hold things together, but they were set up to fail from the start. The restaurant was severely understaffed, and it showed in every part of the experience—long waits, chaotic service, and stressed employees running around trying to cover way too much.

What’s even worse is that the general manager was nowhere to be found. It’s obvious this was a case of poor scheduling and lack of leadership. A restaurant should never be put in a position where its team is left scrambling just to provide the basics of service. If management can’t plan staffing properly, then the dining experience is going to keep suffering, no matter how hard the employees try.
