Love going for ice cream here but wish they made their own. This is just Richardson’s, which is good, but you can buy it at the store for a lot less. Line can get super long and servers do the best they can, only so fast you can scope ice cream.

My family loves this place! They give a generous amount of ice cream which is good because the prices are a bit high. But it tastes great and we even buy some to take home. One opportunity for improvement is to increase staff because the wait time can get very long.

The cottage creamery is a great place to take the heat off a minute the beach.
It’s connected to the Cottage Island Market and has limited outdoor seating, but is in a perfect location arriving at or leaving from Plum Island Beach.

Went today, rude young woman working. Was 1030 am and she already irritated. I was taking a minute looking at flavors and she got huffy and puffy. Whole demeanor was off. Ordered for the kids and walked away. No tip earned.

Our family LOVES this place! It’s the cutest little beach town Ice cream shop. All of the staff were super friendly and extra helpful with my toddler wanting to order “for himself” and the ice cream sandwiches were amazing!! We will always come back!

Not good ice cream has no flavor, frappe are not blended good a whole scoop was at the bottom and just taste like milk. The sorbet is not specified what flavor we thought we were getting the traditional sorbet but got raspberry with weird chunks and I even asked if that was right and she said ya. The place over all was just not good and my kids were very disappointed.

Came 15 minutes before close with my gf on my birthday. Kid at the counter was very vocal about his displeasure that he had customers. He took her order (I didn’t want ice cream), & then took the customers behind us orders. My girlfriend tipped him 4$ on a 5$ kiddie cup. The girls behind us got their order first & the order we received was wrong. When I corrected him I was met with attitude (not surprised) & When he came back with what she asked for, it was only half full. Every other ice cream he sent out was over-heaping. I am not the type to go out of my way to leave negative reviews but this whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way.
My girlfriend was the only customer who was apologetic for being there (which is silly because that’s why they’re still open), & probably the only one who tipped but we got the worst service. Do better.

The person who was managing the window was beyond friendly, speedy, and so kind to my 3 year old who took forever and a day to choose his flavor. Icecream was beyond delicious and we even stopped into the surf shop and got a new hoodie! Wish I could give this place 10 stars

I recently stopped by for some ice cream and it was the best!!! The lava cake sundaes were soooo good! And the Manager Luke was super kind and helped explain all the flavors. Would definitely recommend this place for ice cream!

The girls were super sweet, very engaging with my little ones!
Ice cream was amazing. Outdoor seating was super cute.
My only complaint is that the cookies for the Sandy sandwiches were crunchy rather than soft, definitely not what I expected lol, but delicious none the less!
We will be back!
