Stumbled across this little gem today and my experience was really really good!
The owner was so beautiful and friendly. Her whole vibe was welcoming.
The cafe itsself was super clean and neat. The decor was minimal but very fitting to the calm atmosphere.
We ordered the jerk chicken meal that came with cabbage, rice and plantains with 2 beef and 2 curry chicken Patties (BOMB!!) Authentic!!!! Our chicken was falling off the bone. All I’d change for next time is for extra gravy/sauce on the rice. Food was AMAZING!
Wouldnt do large group seating.
And they also have coffee!!!!!
This will be our go to spot when we visit.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everything from the food to the welcoming environment and staff. Shelly has brought a piece Jamaica to Fairmont, WV and I didn’t realize how much we needed it until I tried the food. I had the Jerk Chicken meal, a beef patty, a curry patty, and mixed berry shake. I definitely recommend the jerk chicken meal and for the price, you might as well grab some patties to. Worth the trip!

So disappointed- found this place to stop at when planning our road trip from NY to North Carolina. Reviews were so good and the photos so inviting that we spent 5 hours of anticipation, cutting our stop for gas short to arrive before they closed at 8pm (or so the website and sign in the door says). But at 7:40 the door was locked and lights out. We saw a “closed” sign on a chair in the empty dining area. I wish I was giving a glowing review of an amazing dinner of Jamaican food! So disappointing. So maybe it’s good to call ahead if you’re not local!

The owner was fantastic and was eager to assist me and showed me items on the menu, as this was my first time. She even took the time out to explain and answer any questions I had. The customer experience was amazing,and the cleanest restaurant I’ve ever seen!!!! Now for the food. The food was absolutely mouthwatering!! all of the items were fresh and cooked with love!! Seasoned to perfection! I definitely recommend this place to anyone!! you will not be disappointed!! Thank you so much for this amazing experience Shelly!

This place is an absolute gem! The owner, Shelly, is Jamaican (and a U.S. Army vet) and is cooking authentic, traditional Jamaican food right here in the home of pepperoni rolls and hotdogs. My wife and I have been to Jamaica on numerous occasions and the only way that this food could be more authentic would be Shelly selling it out of a wooden shack with a corrugated tin roof and a dirt floor on the side of the road with chickens running around. No point in reviewing specific dishes because everything is good! A Jamaican friend of mine once told me that if I ever found a Jamaican restaurant that sold oxtail and actually had any left when I was ready to order, that I should leave immediately. Shelly never has any oxtail left when I’m there 😉

Excellent food. Location is tucked away and I thought about driving past but I’m glad I didn’t. Best plantains I’ve ever had, curry chicken and cabbage were five star. Very clean and nice interior, I recommend everyone try this place and experience new flavors.

Picked up Jerked Chicken today… had an amazing flavor and just the right amount of spice. The employee who served me was very nice and explained some of the items to me. Can’t wait to try the special on Friday Goat Curry! Definitely will be coming here more often!

One of the best dining experiences I’ve personally had. I walked in and was immediately treated like family. Not only is the service incredible, the atmosphere feels like home. I’d give a separate second five star rating just for the food if I could. Can not recommend enough!
