Corson was an interesting dinner with friends on a weeknight. The service throughout was phenomenal – helpful and informative with great suggestions. The menu itself was a bit more limited than I expected but we were able to find dishes for our mixed requirements party (vegetarian, etc.) The dishes overall I thought ranged from only okay to rather good – but nothing blew me away flavors wise. The best bites were for sure the confit halibut, but I found most other bites needing more flavor and spice. The ice cream dessert however was just unappetizing – not sure what happened there. For the price and effort to snag a reservation, I expected more remarkable flavors. The space/atmosphere was quite nice if not a bit drafty but that made sense for the building.

As a photographer who has photographed many events here, I wanted to take a moment to express my love for the Corson Building! Photographing weddings here is such a dream – The space is so unique, charming, and full of character. The gardens are exquisitely designed and maintained, the building feels warm and homey, and the dining patio is so magical for an evening dinner. And the food and drinks… I love walking into the space and seeing the chef’s cooking over the fire or preparing food through the windows. The staff are so friendly and fun as well. This is some of the best food in Seattle – can’t think of a better place to host a celebratory dinner!

We got married at The Corson Building in September, and it was truly unforgettable. We chose the venue primarily for the food, and it completely exceeded our expectations — everything from the appetizers to our simple dessert was incredible. Our guests are still talking about it.

They also did an amazing job accommodating numerous food allergies, which was incredibly important to us. The service was top-notch from start to finish; the staff genuinely felt like part of our family that day. In addition, the space perfectly fit our 60 guests.

A huge thank-you to Angela, who helped coordinate everything behind the scenes and made sure the day ran smoothly and seamlessly. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or experience and would highly recommend The Corson Building to anyone looking for exceptional food, service, and care on their wedding day!

We came here once during the fall and again in the winter. I love the winter menu better personally. The app, main to dessert flows really smoothly and I love how they take risks with different local ingredients to create amazing dishes. One of a kind dinning experience. Service inside could match the dishes better but when we dined outside, the service was amazing.

Dining at the Cordon Building in Seattle is a truly elevated fine-dining experience. The setting itself is elegant and intimate, creating the perfect backdrop for a thoughtfully curated meal. Every detail—from the ambiance to the presentation—reflects a clear commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

The cuisine is beautifully executed, with each course showcasing refined techniques, balanced flavors, and seasonal ingredients. The menu feels intentional and sophisticated without being pretentious, and the pacing of the meal allows you to fully enjoy each dish. The wine and cocktail selections complement the food seamlessly, adding another layer to the experience.

Service is attentive and professional, striking the right balance between being present and unobtrusive. Overall, dining at the Corson Building is an exceptional experience that stands out in Seattle’s fine-dining scene and is well worth seeking out for a special occasion.

This was a disappointing meal to spend on for $310 for two people. DO NOT come here for the Sunday set course.

If you know how to cook, you’ll understand how mediocre the food is compared to the price.
– the cup was obviously still dirty (see photo)
– The only good dish was the soup/appetizer. The cauliflower bacon soup was yummy, and they gave some crackers with dip on the side that was also good, reminded me of a red pepper cheese dip from Trader Joe’s
– the second dish was a very bitter salad, so bitter that I didn’t want to eat it but then remembered it costs each person $150 to sit there to eat it.
– the third dish was the chicken which legitimately reminded me of the $5 Costco rotisserie chicken but seasoned with dill, and includes grains on the side. This chicken was quite dry too.
– the fourth dish is an apple pie with whipped cream, which also reminded me of something I could get from Costco

You tell me if this meal sounds like it’s worth $150?

All in all, one of the most disappointing meals I ever had, especially because it was for a birthday. I wish I had cooked at home or booked a different restaurant. I wanted to check out this place since there were weddings held here, but will never come back again, there was nothing special with the dishes that elicits that price

I’m giving two stars because at least the ambiance was cute

I had the privilege of experiencing the exceptional dining and service at The Corson Building for an intimate wedding, and I can honestly say it was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the front-of-house team—Sera, Jim, and Steven—welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every detail was taken care of with ease.

The menu was an absolute highlight — every dish crafted with such care, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. Chef Emily and Seamus truly outdid themselves, delivering a culinary experience that left everyone raving. And with Kristy and Caroline supporting their efforts, it was clear that the team worked in perfect harmony to create a flawless dining experience.

The service was impeccable, guided and managed flawlessly by the amazing Angela and Matt. Their care, intention, and attention to every little detail made the day feel seamless, allowing everyone to relax and fully enjoy the celebration.

For intimate weddings, this venue is an absolute gem. Nestled in the heart of historic Georgetown, it offers not just an unforgettable meal but an unforgettable atmosphere. If you’re looking for exquisite food, impeccable service, and a team that truly cares about your special day, look no further than The Corson Building. A truly unforgettable experience!

We were so excited to try the Corson building and were unfortunately very disappointed. A few things that went wrong were forgivable, but the final incident left us with big concerns, and we won’t be back.

We went for a prix fixe menu and overall found the food to be okay. Some dishes were really good, and others were not as good. We had some service challenges after we moved tables due to the outdoor heaters being too hot. For example, they forgot one of our last courses and kept us waiting for 30+ minutes until we asked and also charged us for the wrong table’s bill. We found these issues to be forgivable, and the staff was apologetic, so we didn’t think too much of them.

However, as an apology, they brought me tea with dessert, and upon lifting my cup from the saucer, I found a live silverfish under the cup. This gave me some real concerns about the cleanliness of the restaurant. I was too mortified to say anything to the staff since our waitress already seemed really embarrassed after the other mishaps that had already occurred and because I was so grossed out (and because dinner took so long) that I just wanted to leave. I wrote a note for the restaurant and placed it top of the tea cup making them aware of the issue (and that the bug was still under the cup), and I hope they will take it seriously.

Overall, we are really disappointed because we had high hopes for this restaurant. I originally did not intend to post a review, but I think the silverfish issue is something that others should be aware of since it seems like a sanitary issue.

One of my all time favourites in greater Seattle and a must-visit anytime I am in town. The team led by a charming husband/wife team do an unbelievable job at keeping it interesting with a seasonal revolving menu. Incredible care is taken to create innovative dishes and make their high quality ingredients shine. The wine list is impressive without being too esoteric with a nice edit of small grower producers. The service is casual and attentive without being overbearing. And of course the charming setting transports you to another place that is far away from the athletic field next door and the highway overpass nearby. A meal here will be a memorable experience that will stay with you far longer than a rich meal in a nondescript Michelin starred restaurant in a fancy hotel.

Overall we enjoyed the creativity of the food and the nice ambiance. It is a bit pricy though.
FOOD: they have fixed menu with optional wine pairing. Each course is very unique, and the portion is pretty generous. We enjoyed the taste of some food, others were more like a fun adventure.
AMBIANCE: we sat outdoors that’s covered and very warm. The indoor space looks very nice too. The service was great.
