We visited this restaurant and it was such a unique experience! The Amish girl who served us was incredibly sweet, her kindness truly brightened our day. The food was so fresh and delicious, and for dessert we tried the banana cake. Then I saw them topping a cinnamon roll with icing and I couldn’t resist. Everything was perfect!! Simple, authentic, and unforgettable.

Looks like an old bar converted to a restaurant and bakery. Saw one Amish lady working with the English. Food decent with a small farmer’s bowl ordered, Rye bread one slice$.25 extra. Coffee strong enough. Napkins at the table with basic condiments. Asked for catsup. Good place to try. See menu for lunch products. Restroom clean.

This is a great little place and an antidote to chain restaurants. The bonus is that they have a wide variety of desserts and baked goods, some wrapped for sale at the register. The servers are unfailingly polite. My mom really liked her soup and could tell the high quality of the ham in it. The prices are extremely reasonable. They have crinkle cut fries, which are my least favorite.

Found this place on a whim, and I was not disappointed! The building itself has beautiful art painted on the sides, and the rest of it has a country feel to it. Everyone was super nice inside, and the food and prices were amazing! I got eggs, bacon, toast, and corned beef hash, and everything has a true home cooked taste! If I’m ever traveling through this area again I’d more than likely come here again! Worth all 5 stars!

Let me paint the picture for you. We walked in and to the left are 5 older gentleman having coffee and chatting away. Soft music playing and the bakery items right straight ahead. You know it’s a local favorite. We went headed over and found a seat. One waitress and she knew the names of the customers. She was quick to get our drinks and take our order. We had the French toast muffins. She answered all our questions and was very personable. You could tell she liked her job. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent. We will definitely be making the trip again to eat here.

The Hurst clan had a large get-together, tables and chairs were moved to accommodate everyone. Our waitress was so polite, was very calm under pressure, our Friday night fish Fry was excellent, everyone was pleased!
