A nice little cozy bistro bar in the heart of South Lyon downtown. Loved the avacato smash sandwich. Daughter had an ice cream . We took the kiddie size ..to her pleasant surprise the kiddies size itself was a jumbo scoop so yeah the ice cream sizes are bound to make kids happy. The servers were pleasant . Not a large space but great to hangout.

3.33/5 The Corner Social is a cute cafe with something for everybody on its menu. I was impressed with the variety of options and enjoyed my coffee. Ended up being disappointed when I opened up my sandwich at home because I was given the wrong order and unfortunately, I don’t eat pork. I was supposed to get turkey instead. Please make sure you double check how orders are being packaged.

Stopped in for coffee – they have an excellent selection of coffee and specialty coffee drinks! I had an iced Nutella Latte and it was perfect. It’s got a good balance of good espresso flavor, not burnt at all, and it’s sweet, but not too sweet. They had several dairy free milk options. The prices were pretty good! For two large lattes and two baked goods, it was $20 before tip. The staff were very friendly, and got my drinks made quickly despite being busy. I’ll definitely be stopping in to try some of their sandwiches next time I’m in town – they had some very tasty sounding options.

The Corner Social is a quaint little beautiful café. It had some amazing food, coffee, cocktails and ice creams. Better yet the atmosphere and ambience was very inviting. I ended up staying for more than an hour as the place has some board games to enjoy as well. A must visit if you are going to be in South Lyon MI.

The Spanish Latte is good. The Hammi is good. The Tomato and Basil Bisque is good. The Spanish Coffee (liquor drink) is good. I need to try the Turkey next with a Creamy Cocktail (made with Guernsey Ice Cream).

Nestled in the heart of South Lyon, The Corner Social is a charming café housed in a historic building dating back to 1855. Stepping through its doors, patrons are not only greeted by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee but also by the palpable sense of history that permeates the air.
The café’s ambiance effortlessly blends old-world charm with modern comfort, making it an inviting space for locals and visitors alike. The exposed brick walls, original hardwood floors, and vintage decor pay homage to the building’s storied past, while cozy seating areas invite guests to linger and unwind.

A charming café in the center of South Lyon. The ladies that worked there were all very friendly and helpful. I had a sandwich and a coffee. The food was made to order and the coffee was hot and flavorful. Definitely worth a visit!

Always rude here, whatever the employees just seem miserable. But, ordered food here today and they burnt it! It’s a bagel and it’s burnt to a crisp. Ordered two so we had a comparison. Sorta comical and fits the vibe of this place. Got a refund but I think it’s the point they were too lazy to remake it. At a previous visit my daughter went to wash her hands and the sink was full of hair and there was poop smeared on the toilet seat. We both lost our appetite and went home. All done here. ✌ ✌

Highly recommend! It was an impromptu date with a friend and the food did not disappoint. This is a turkey, Swiss, and honey mustard sandwich and it was so so good. The honey mustard is very thick and sticky which made it so sweet.
