My sisters and I stumbled upon this gem while in Middleport last week. We happened by on a Thursday and saw they offered smoked meats Thursday -Saturday. Boy, are we glad we stopped for lunch!! Between us we got the pulled pork and the brisket. It was delicious! And the portions were huge!! I saw someone come by to pick up their to-go order and assumed it was a bulk order! Not so! What I saw was a normal portion! We got several meals out of our leftovers. The staff was so busy but still remained friendly and very accomodating. Middleport is fortunate to have a place like this!

I have gone here for years. Recommended by a friend, went with my brother, introduced my parents, bragged it up to my friends, it’s my wife and I’m favorite local restaurant, and in a few minutes, are going to be taking our firstborn there for the first time. Love it, Love it, Love it.

John and his wife are the sweetest, funniest, and most welcoming people. Smelled the bbq driving by and had to stop for lunch.
I tried the pork and brisket, and both are smoked perfectly. Tender, flavorful, and plenty of it!
If you get the chance, stop on the weekend for bbq and talk with the people who run the place. This is a gem in Middleport.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! The food is amazing. Cooked to order right in front of you. Large portions, great prices and most of all, John and his wife are wonderful people.
