We started coming to this restaurant 29 years ago. It has changed ownership over the years, starting as a truckstop. We have always stoped there on our way to Lake Erie. The food was wonderful! They atmosphere and service were really great, and they still are but not the food. The coffee used to be the best! A couple years ago it changed and is not worth drinking. The green beans are heated up right out of the can. The meatloaf has changed for the worse also. However, we still went there because most of the other food was still good. But several weeks ago we ordered homefries with our meals and were served little rubbery squares that had been frozen. Could not eat them. Our server was so nice. We told her what we thought about it. She said the owners think they would take up less room on the grill and be more efficient. Whatever happened to “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it”?!! It was always a treat to stop there. We put up with bad coffee and the other things, but those terrible potatoes was the last straw! Sadly we will not be stopping again.

We stopped in to support a small business instead of a chain restaurant!
Food was good, prices were good, wait time and portions were terrible UNLESS you are a regular and the waitress knows you! Then you get double the portions and fast service!
If I had read the response that the restaurant left to a customer for a bad review, we WOULD NOT have stopped!
Sorry, won’t be back due to ONLY the response left to the customer! Sorry, you Don’t treat customers that way!

The breakfast has always been outstanding, Sherri does an excellent job. She provides top-notch service. But do not go in there for dinner. Waste of money. The meatloaf was like dog food. And no I’m not over exaggerating. Tasteless, cold, and unappealing. Keep up the good work Sherri.

Do not order potatoes at breakfast. They are nothing more than diced French fries. However the omelet was delicious. I do recommend going and eating.
