Everything we had was excellent. The fried mushrooms are large and hand breaded. The biscuits and gravy are delicious. After a long weekend camping or on the lake you can’t do better than to stop here on the way out.

Talk about a small town country kitchen better than your mama’s cooking! Great service from Jeremy and Chef! What a amazing spread of food and full portions so good I didn’t want to stop eating, literally made fresh. Will be coming back in recommend one of everything!

It’s a culinary gem where you’d least expect it. The front of house team is attentive and welcoming. Chef makes everything in house daily and it shows. The classics are perfect, but you have to try the innovative dishes too. This place is a must-stop if you appreciate scratch cooking, passionate people, and supporting a small business.

Greeted as soon as we arrived. Grandson and wife had chicken strips that were huge, they looked like boneless breasts. They were delicious. We had fried mushrooms and the breading was wonderful. I had the bacon cheeseburger with tots and both were perfectly cooked. The cook was very friendly and made recommendations.

Randomly stumbled upon this place after recently moving here. I ordered their Thanksgiving meals on Thanksgiving day. Each one was $5-$6 and well worth it. Friendly people, cute looking place, and solid food. I’d definitely come back.

After all the reviews I was excited to try this place. I ordered a cheese burger and a bacon cheese burger. After asking for things like tomato on the burger, I was repeatedly told that their burgers are “pure” = they offer no toppings whatsoever. Ok… I’m willing to go with that, but what I got was the greasiest burger I’ve ever seen. It was dripping with grease and had soaked through the bottom bun to the point of mushy disintegration. They said they make Onion Rings and Fried Mushrooms to order… maybe those are great, but I didn’t hear about it until well after ordering my cheese burgers and tots.

One of the best hamburgers I’ve had in a long time in a completely charming setting. This may be off the beaten path, but if you are in the neighborhood – this is totally worth the drive.

Very awesome place! The chef had a great story about how he grew up cooking with his family and how comes up with his creative recipes. Definitely give this place a shot. Some of the best food I have EVER had. The General Tsos chicken was off the charts good!
