I came into The Corner Grill in North Arlington, NJ simply trying to escape the cold, and I was genuinely surprised, in the best way possible. I’ll admit, I wasn’t very confident at first because of some Google reviews, but this place completely changed my mind.
I had the chicken and waffles, which were amazing, crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. I ordered a breakfast burrito for my partner, and it was just as good, hearty and delicious. On top of that, the coffee was freshly brewed and real coffee, which is something you truly appreciate these days ☕️.
What really stood out was the customer service. The ladies working there were outstanding, so kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when recommending dishes. You can tell they care about their customers.
Prices are also very affordable, especially compared to other spots around North Arlington and Kearny. Great food, great service, and great value. I’ll definitely be coming back!

From the moment you walk in, the décor is welcoming and beautifully done. The food was scrumptious, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Customer service is truly 5-star: friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
I also loved that they have a dedicated kids’ area with games and toys, which makes it perfect for families. There’s plenty of seating, and everything was spotless and well maintained.

Breakfast here Is good. I genuinely come here frequently kind of a local coffee shop vibe for me. The foods good I wouldnt say mind blowing but good none the less. My go to is the chorizo wrap it’s great and from time to time the occasional eggs and pancakes. The pancakes are a bit of a hit or miss but I’ve hit more than I’ve missed so do with that as you will. Overall great if you want something simple and not looking to be catered to every second just a simple breakfast.

Chicken and waffles was good but the waffle was cold, the French toast melt was very good but also served cold had to have it reheated, silver dollar pancakes huge portions but were served cold to the point where the butter wouldn’t even melt see the picture below.
The staff is very friendly and nice and the place is super clean.

A play area for the kids!!!!! Annnnnd good food! Yes please. Best tomato basil soup ever hands down! I love this! If you have small kiddos especially, you have to give this spot a try 🙂

FYI: If you plan on eating here, there is a “Large Party” fee that they take as a service fee which is 20% of your check regardless if you are a party of 2, maybe even 1.
Food is good here but when I went there with another person and received the check I noticed a “Large Party” fee (which is 20% of your check). Which confused me because it was a table for two. I asked about it and they said it was a service fee (If I’m paying a service fee then that might as well be your tip).
On another note, they say they only have bottled water which in my eyes seems like another way to charge me for even more money.

I have been coming here for 4 years and I absolutely love it. The space! The service! The prices. But most of all, they have a kids play area. As a mommy of 4 it has become our favorite breakfast place!

i used uber eats to order and i regret not going with ihop my original option i threw all of it away . The WORST home fries i have ever tasted all black and old with a horrible smell. The eggs look and taste like they have been sitting somewhere waiting to be sold. This is my second time ordering thinking they will be better but no both times were horrible
