I come here often and regularly order the cinnamon rolls for breakfast. They’re usually very moist and generously covered in icing, which is why I love them. Today, I sent my husband to pick up four to go so we could enjoy them at home for breakfast tomorrow. Unfortunately, the amount of icing on these was minimal and nothing like what is normally served when dining in.
This was disappointing, especially given the 35-minute trip and the $16 spent. It makes it feel as though the quality changes for to-go orders, which is frustrating as a loyal customer. I likely won’t order these to go again unless this can be improved.

Went here for dinner before football game. Order the veal dinner and on the menuIt says it comes with two sides.However, they only say that the two sides are the spaghetti and the side salad. So the menu is misleading. Furthermore, the spaghetti was watered down and the sauce had no flavor and the garlic bread had no garlic taste at all. The side Salad didn’t even fill the bowl to the brim. It was about half full and the tomatoes inside the side. Salad still had the cores in them. The waitress was not seen at all, except when I had to go up to the counter, to get my own water from the hostess.And then she came out from the back. The only good thing of service that happened at this store today was the busboy was prompted removing my dirty dishes.

Been living nearby for about two years, but this is the first time I stopped by. Huge inside! Looks tiny from outside. Quite the optical illusion. Great service. Really wonderful Reuben and ‘house’ chips. Extremely good value. Want to try other items on the menu. Location in a dying shopping center doesn’t help, and not really visible from Scalp road. Hope they continue to survive, and they can count on my continued patronage!

Went for breakfast with my family, the waitress took our order and never came back around. We waited over an hour for our food which was nothing difficult ( breakfast sandwich, oatmeal, and creme chipped beef) . The potatoes that came with my sandwich were ice cold and we were never checked on to see if we wanted drink refills or anything. Will never go back there again.

This place has gone down hill a lot since “chef” left. The food quality and quantity definitely diminished. Supposedly new owner but I’m not sure. Just rumor. They have many staff who are great so the service is very good. Prices are very reasonable. Just quality isn’t there like it used to be. It went from my #1 breakfast restaurant to not even being in my top 10. Love the atmosphere. Definitely old diner feel to it. My advice… do better or you’ll probably not be open much longer. Word spreads fast in small towns.

Awesome retro style cafe. They have a huge menu, and serve breakfast all day. I had the eggs Benedict’s and it was delicious. My dad had the big breakfast (they aren’t kidding when they say big) they also have a huge selection of homemade pies and baked goods. Highly recommend, we will be stopping back!

I went here for the wing dings I grew up with – even asked the server if they were the same wings and she said yes. Sadly, they were not the same wings and these new wings were dry and terrible. It took 50 minutes for our food to come out and that was only after we asked where it was. The server also never brought me water even though I asked several times. The loaded fries were the only good part.

Always the best home style food, after Sunday service we stop by for brunch. Our table servers are fast and friendly. Generous food portions, served hot, and tasty. You can’t beat the touch of Americana atmosphere!
