I describe these as “Hash Whites.”. This happens when the cook starts flipping and chopping them up on the grill. Cooks, put a good amount of butter or oil down, put the potatoes on top and DON’T touch them till you see the edges are browned. Flip once and brown the other side and serve.

Stoped in one late October Sunday morning on our way back to Kenosha from Door County. The place was busy and that was a good sign, we sat at the counter. The counter seating gave you a bird’s eye view as to the goings on in the kitchen. Two ladies working well together and putting out solid dishes in a timely manner is what I saw. Has a real hometown greasy spoon feel to it and that’s just what I like. Would certainly stop back through if in the area again. Great job!!

We have supported this local restaurant for years. We live here year-round and over the years have also brought guests to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the restaurant changed hands a while back and concurrently we witnessed a dramatic decline in the quality of service. It was once a happy, friendly place with decent food. We sat at the counter today as the restaurant was very busy. We were completely ignored by two separate waitresses that had to pass by numerous times to pick up food orders. Finally one tossed a couple of menus on the counter. The other one finally came by and asked what we would like to drink. I said both coffee and tried to order the special. She stopped me mid-sentence and said, “DRINKS!”. She put the coffee in front of us and said she’d be back for our order. At this point we already had at least twenty minutes invested. We had a couple of sips; noticed her standing around at a distance; and made the wise choice to leave $5 and go. She always has a sour look on her face and a rude attitude. We are won’t be back.

Very friendly dinner. The food didnt take too long to make and it tasted good. Although the atmosphere was quiet and small town cafe like it was open and homely. The food was average size in terms of serving size. The french toast was super good! One thing I liked is that they served the maple syrup warm. Don’t really know what to say about cleanliness though. But overall it was a good place to stop and eat

I’ve only been in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin for 7 days and this by far is the best place to eat for both breakfast and lunch. The staff is welcoming and friendly and so is the atmosphere! The service is fast and the food is great and filling! I highly recommend stopping by for either breakfast or lunch. 2 major keys to remember are that one, they’re only open till 2pm and they only accept cash!! No credit cards!

Absolute favorite place In the world for breakfast. It’s not gourmet, It’s just good. I don’t give high reviews of a restaurant often. It’s as good as home and worth the prices which are very reasonable.

I don’t know what may of happen to the others but I’m from out of town and bring my children there whenever they are with me. They always request to go. They love the chocolate chip pancakes.

Eh. The people were nice. It took awhile to get coffee and have someone take our order and it wasn’t busy. The food was so, so. My French toast tasted like my husband’s kielbasa. Cash only, so we had to walk a couple blocks to find an ATM. They forgot my order of sausage. My husband ordered an over hard egg and got over easy. Probably will not go back.

Food was good! I did a build your own melt and it was great. We also highly recommend the pancakes. Everything our table ordered was delicious. Service was good but very understaffed for the festival weekend. Could have used another hand. Place is cash or check only. Prices were very cheap!
