After trying a slug burger from the most popular location in Corinth, I decided to dine here and try their take on the burger. I was drawn in by the atmosphere / aesthetics of the restaurant. I seated myself at the bar and was welcomed by many workers & patrons. I struck up a conversation with who I presume was the owner. He was friendly and appreciative of the business. The slug burgers I ordered were thin, crispy and flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. It was a Friday, nearing the end of the business hours but I did not feel rushed to finish up my meal. The customer service is top notch and you will feel right at home.

The food here is great, there’s no denying that. This is where I was introduced to slugburgers and I couldn’t believe what I’d been missing out on. But what really makes you wanna keep coming back is the whole atmosphere and experience you’ll only get here. I’ll say that it’s not the biggest place, but it is incredibly welcoming, pleasant, and very kind. You get the vibe that you can relax and be as comfortable as you would be with family. It’s undeniably a one-of-a-kind place, and you’d be a fool to pass it by and miss out on a great time.

What a wonderful stop! Looking for a breakfast stop other than ‘fast food’, and almost through the town of Selmer, TN., Pat’s Cafe appeared… window saying ‘Home of the SLUGBURGER’. Ms. Pat has owned this small cafe for 31 of its 45 yrs!!! She even prepared our Garden omelets and hash browns, and offered us her homemade strawberry preserves! Kudos and ^5s!

This is a great old school diner. It’s a little cramped or cozy, depending on how you look at it, and it has seating at the bar with tall stools. If you’re short, they may become a little uncomfortable since your legs will not touch the floor. There is a spot outside to sit as well. It has friendly staff, but during a rush, they get to work and get in the zone so they can seem a little less polite, but they are really nice people. The food is very good, and it is priced reasonably, especially during a time when everything is expensive. My wife and I will most definitely be going back for more.
