So so good! The restaurant is a bit hidden but we were told about it by some friends and now we’ve gotten it twice this week. I almost wish I didn’t like it so much because now I can’t stop thinking about it.
I got a classic ruban and the macaroni salad is also so good!

Excellent sandwiches, excellent service, okay atmosphere. The food is well prepared and the portions are generous. The two person staff are very friendly and efficient. The sandwich shop is located in the lobby of a neighborhood community center. The tables are adjacent to the post office postal box wall so there’s random people coming to collect their mail, so the atmosphere is less than ideal, but it’s been fairly quiet on the several occasions when I’ve dined there. The food and the friendly service are what make this a destination eatery. Besides the half dozen sandwich choices there’s a limited number of complimentary sides. Beverages are either bottled sodas, water, or coffee. There’s also a limited choice of very good deserts. Most of the business is centered on take away, but dining in is still rewarding. As I said, the reason to support this business is the excellent food, friendly service, and value for the money. Try it, you’ll like it.

I just want to say WOW!! My second time here. First time I just did dessert the apple cobbler beignets. Today I came for the same thing and walked out with wings I got the spicy one I can’t remember the name but the texture of the wings chief kiss!! Nice and soft in the inside but crunchy on the outside the spice to it was and is GOOOOOD! I came with out my husband and now I’m taking him some so he can try! I would rate them 10/10. The cold salad too was very but very good! This spot needs to really be 5 stars already! The way the owners treat you is really good from the moment you walk in to you leaving!

The best corned beef/pastrami sandwich I’ve had! The portion of meat is insane and so good! I was in town for work from Tennessee and would highly recommend paying a visit here for an incredible sandwich. The owner is extremely friendly as well!

This was a fantastic find, tucked away off the beaten path in a community center. They specialize in corned beef and pastrami, and wow, they do it well. They’re super nice and helpful. It was my first time there and they gave me the VIP treatment, walking me through their ordering process (cool pencils, ladies!). If you like spicy, don’t miss the jerk sauce (“That Jerk”), it’s the best I’ve ever had. I missed out on the beignets, I’ll have to go back just for that…highly recommend!

Holy cow, what a great little place! Being honest, I found it on a fluke and I’m so glad I did. It’s literally a little hidden gem. The food was outstanding, our sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The owner and staff were welcoming, friendly and kind. Give them a go!

I found this place off Yelp. It’s located in a building between a gym and post office. I wasn’t planning on staying too long so I parked in that big lot to the left of the building. I took a picture of it. Prices for the sandwiches range from $13.50 – 16.50. That’s without tax. The sandwiches come with a bag of chips and some pickles. I ordered a side of macaroni salad for $3 and a bottle of water for $1. It’s about $20 for all of this. $22 after taxes. You can blame Romeoville and Illinois for the extra taxes. I believe it’s like 1 lb of meat. It was convenient for me since I ate half before the gym and the other half afterwards along with the sides. The only downside is coming here if you’re coming from afar due to all of those semi trucks slowing down traffic on the tollway.
Other than that, I ordered the two faced – corned beef and pastrami. The meat was freshly sliced and prepared. It wasn’t dry, very moist. The yellow mustard amplified the taste. There are plenty of seating inside and outside. Service was friendly. You have to fill out your order on a piece of paper then hand it to them. Next time, if I’m in the mood for a good pastrami sandwich I’ll come back. It’s difficult to find good pastrami/corned beef sandwich places with that generous amount of meat.

Simple yet so enjoyable. Great place to grab lunch if you want a quick but heavy meal! Has that cozy and local feeling with familiar faces. The server is very sweet and even remembered us from our last visit three months ago. Meal was very satisfying and filling — one sandwich is a great portion size to split between two people, and the beignets were fantastic. Definitely will be coming back!

Great sandwich! I had the 2 faced Jerk. The Jerk sauce was an excellent addition to the corn beef and pastrami. It had a slight kick but no so spicy that it ruins the flavor of the meat, it just enhances the flavor. If you don’t like a little spice, get the regular sandwiches.
I also enjoyed the bread. Outside of a NY deli, most places put thick bread that takes away from the flavor of the meat. For me, the choice bread is perfect.
After half the sandwich, I was full but I couldn’t stop myself from finishing it.
