For the past year I’ve been stopping in to the quaint little place about one a month for breakfast. And being from south , the name appealed to me. When I walked in and every time I do (though I’m an outsider) I get looks ; they never waiver from the small town hospitality. Though they server other food I’ve only had there breakfast , grits are perfect every time (which in the south is huge) coffee is always hot and they always have a smile and speak . The regulars that gather in the corner with there coffee with there morning stories is always a welcoming sound . If you are ever passing through wrightsville definitely check them out you won’t be disappointed………..

I was in the area for my job and decided to go by here to get a bite to eat since I hadn’t eaten all day. This was my 1st time here. The greens were good, the dressing was okay, but the salmon patty was dry. I’m not sure if it was because they were about to close and I was getting what was left over from the whole day or what. The lady that took my order was very nice. I paid $12 and some change for this plate.

I walked in and was greeted by the staff and the customers, the guys were hanging out and were eating and talking with each other other was nice. The cashier was very friendly and the order was made very quickly. I got it home for my wife and I and it was so good. I have gone back and it was a very similar experience. I highly recommend. Please let the kitchen know that the food was amazing and the young lady brightened my day. Highly recommend.

The food is usually good but this time it didn’t taste the same. The pork chop was overcooked the fried okra was cold the scallop potatoes were fair and the carrot and raisin salad was excellent. Service was great and quick.

First time going here. It was Sunday and the family was all off at the same for Lunch. Our waitress, Rachel, was awesome and I observed the other employees were just as courteous and kind as well.

Let’s go through the categories:
Food: We had the fried pork chop and the fried chicken. Our sides were collards, field peas, mac and cheese, and fried okra. The porkchop was small and a little dry. The fried chicken was good perfectly with a very light batter. The collards were perfect. The remaining sides were okay, under seasoned. The cornbread was cooked right, but, like the other offerings, needed salt.
Service: The woman at the counter met us with a smile. She was very helpful and patient. She brought out our meals and checked on us later.
Atmosphere: This is a reclaimed fast food location. It is what it is. Not much personality to the space.
Closing: We travel a lot of backroads and small towns throughout GA. We really hoped that the Café would be on our revisit list. Unfortunately, we just don’t see the need to go back. Maybe we’ll try again after some time. Maybe the kitchen will take their reviews and add a grain of salt.

OMG!! Hands down the very best ever!! Fresh vegetables, and very tasty fried pork steaks, I sure wish they had one like this near my home!!
