My friends and I went to Paducah for a weekend Ladies’ Trip! After ‘sleeping in’ and not rising until 8:30am… we got ready and visited this establishment for brunch on Saturday. Quiche, bacon, a breakfast toast with berries, potatoes, benedict… I’m trying to recall what we each ordered. It doesn’t matter though, it was all very good! We enjoyed it so much that we altered our plans for the day so we could come back to enjoy the nearby shopping opportunities and a charcuterie board with wine.

Wonderful experience with a few areas of improvement needed.
Went with a friend when there were only 2 other couples seated. Drinks took a surprisingly long time to get given there were 4 staff behind the bar.
The bruschetta was delicious. A bit skimpy on the figs, but great otherwise. The gnocchi were probably the least enjoyable dish because they were very soggy and mushy. Shrimp and grits was outstanding, and the marrow was worth the wait.
I’d come back for sure.

I’ve dined at The Cork Room twice for brunch now…delicious both times! Today we chose the following…

Scotch Egg… arugula, tomato jam, toast $10 (the largest Scotch Egg I’ve ever seen)
Chicken and French Toast… sriracha maple syrup, garnished with strawberry and blackberries $13
Crab Cake, small plate… basil aioli, heirloom tomatoes $10
Half Caesar Salad… romaine, croutons, parmesan $10
Coke and Soda Water w/Lime

Not only is the food amazing and reasonably priced, but the relaxing atmosphere and super friendly staff are amazing as well. Self-service wine dispensers?!? I’m going back for dinner to try those out. I just love eating local. ♥️

Really great food! I had the brussel sprouts and a salad and it was delicious! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with brick walls and beautiful artwork displayed.

We stopped by The Cork Room in Paducah for Saturday brunch and weren’t sure what to expect at first. When we walked in, the left side of We stopped by The Cork Room in Paducah for Saturday brunch and weren’t sure what to expect at first. When we walked in, the left side of the room was empty, and for a second I thought the place might be dead. But then we saw a full party on the right and learned another large group was on the way.

Even with two parties already there, the staff never made us feel like we were a burden or that they couldn’t handle us in the cozy space. They asked if we were okay sitting at the bar (we were), and they were upfront that there might be a wait since everything is made from scratch. Honestly, that kind of communication and care made us feel really appreciated right off the bat.

We got mimosas, which were spot on, and I ordered the biscuits and gravy, which were absolute perfection. The biscuits were thick, fluffy, buttery, and flaky, with just the right bit of doughiness. The gravy was rich and peppery, with solid chunks of sausage. My wife had the chicken and waffles, and the chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, paired with waffles that were golden and just right.

Even with the big parties and fresh-made food, service was quick and the bartender was super attentive. We felt taken care of the whole time. We’re already looking forward to coming back and seeing what’s next on the menu. be a wait since everything is made from scratch. Great concept, I just never realized how little one ounce appears. Venue is definitely giving a different vibe than Jeremiah’s & they kept some of the charm with the brick walls. I did love the little fluffy balls of light.
Menu is quite limited & portions definitely tapas style. Everything had a fantastic taste.

Want to give a straight forward review of this place. It’s local and I really hate doing it but it was just bad. 30 mins for old fashions that were almost undrinkable. I still drank mine because I didn’t want to cause problems or waste. Appetizers were awesome (Brussels and crab cake). $50 land flight plate was “marrow” that came with a bone with ZERO marrow, a filet that was flat out RAW, like raw raw, and the other filet was edible but just barely.

$135 dinner after comping the burger that my son never got to eat while waiting over an hour for it.

Will not return without the absolute star treatment promise from ownership at their expense. My expense was a sort of wrecked Saturday night, wasted time, and substandard food and service. Was NOT busy at all. There was no excuse. We were the first people there. I’m appalled and completely DISAPPOINTED.

Maybe go somewhere else if you want consistency care or I don’t know, food?

Brunch today for five. Bloody Mary was very good. Eggs Benedict & Crabcake Benedict: a bit stingy on the hollandaise & eggs a bit overcooked Scallops were very good.
Service by Mary Anne was excellent!
A revisit next time we are back to Paducah.

This is my fourth time here and the food is always consistently great. I’ve had brunch twice and dinner service twice. The atmosphere is great for both. Consistently great service and our server Jane tonight was amazing.
