I really wanted to love this place since we drive through the city every other weekend for work. It turned out to be a bust. The waitress wasn’t as friendly and didn’t understand portion size or to guess how many boxes are needed when told 4 were needed (she brought 3).

The accounting acoustics of the main room are poor enough that conversation is difficult. We had a pleasant enough server yet our meals arrived(3) separately our server said another waiter took it by mistake. The food was good. The French onion soup remarkable. The drinks were the best part. I recommend the grapes of wrath. Rather pricey all in all.

This place is legit. I always stop here when I have work in king city. This special, salmon in lobster sauce tastefully prompted me to leave this review (see photo). Everything on the menu here, that I’ve tasted is well above average, easily. No better restaurant bar in KC. Plus…the drinks are on point just like the staff. Ty cork n plough.

First time passing through this small town, and I’m glad I found this place. The French Dip was very tasty, and the curly fries were seasoned just right. Staff was attentive even though it was just a to-go order.

My husband loved his pig and cow (or something like that) burger, and my son liked the farmhouse burger. I wasn’t as impressed with those, but I liked the turkey sandwich I ordered. We liked the fries and onion rings. The ranch dressing for the salad wasn’t my favorite, but my son said the ranch for the chicken wings was different/better.

Loved it! First time guest, the Ribeye special was amazing! Perfectly done! Excellent mashed potatoes and gravy with assorted veggies and some asparagus! I loved every bite! Loved the atmosphere, will definitely be returning when in town!

Amazing steak! Both the rib eye and prime rib were fantastic. Quite pricey ($40) but generous portions and sides. Service was exceptional, too. Lots of unique desserts. Would recommend.

Fair food, fair service, I was in good company, but if I were here with anyone else, I would say the venue was mediocre. It is the best in King City, so I feel they are perceived better than actual. It was very expensive without the zest, quality, or flavor to back it up. I doubt we will return.

Great staff, excellent food, and the house craft sodas were wonderful. Especially the pineapple jalapeno soda.
