Copperfield is an absolute standout for breakfast and brunch. Everything we ordered was fantastic, and it’s one of those places where you can tell real thought went into every dish.
We tried the Mexican hash, the avocado toast, biscuits and gravy, and the mixed berry crepes, and there wasn’t a weak link on the table. The Mexican hash was especially impressive. The hash browns were lightly browned and perfectly cooked, not soggy and not burnt, just right. It came topped with a poached egg and a side of English muffin with jam, which was a nice touch. The salsa that comes with it is truly unique and unlike anything you’ve probably had elsewhere. That sense of originality really carries across the menu.
The avocado toast was incredible, fresh, well balanced, and deeply satisfying. The mixed berry crepes were another highlight. The berries tasted naturally sweet and very fresh, not syrupy or overdone, which made the whole dish feel light and vibrant.
Overall, our table enjoyed everything we ordered. Looking back at other breakfast spots we’ve been to, Copperfield easily rises to the top of the list. It’s creative, consistently well executed, and absolutely worth going out of your way for.

Only half busy on a Tuesday made this a great casual experience. The prices are a little bit up there, but the food is definitely at that level. Steak was medium rare, as I ordered it with the salad. They do not skimp on topping ingredients, which is what makes a salad. I cleaned my bowl happily. The bartender waited on us and was knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit if you don’t mind paying a little extra for great food with someone important to you.

Really cute venue. Wonderful service. I had the sunrise bowl with poached eggs. The eggs were over cooked so not really any yolk and the biscuit underneath was pretty hard. Husband had the biscuits and gravy and said the were good. The short stack pancake is huge. I’d suggest asking for regular butter instead of the cinnamon butter but thats just my personal preference.

This place is cute! We came in right as they had put out their holiday decor and it was really cozy. I definitely enjoy the atmosphere. It’s also in a quiet little neighborhood so if you’re looking for a peaceful bite, this might be it for you.
Overall, the food was good! I wasn’t overly impressed or anything, but it’s solid food. It just wasn’t anything special necessarily. We enjoyed the cheese curds & mini tacos (chorizo) that we ordered. Our friends are frequently flyers at this place and got the chicken sandwich & the Big Mac burger, which it looks like they enjoyed. Partner and I got the seafood Mac & cheese and the petite tender. I liked the Mac & cheese since I like creamier Mac. The petite tender was fine, but the herb sauce (looks like chimichurri?) didn’t have a strong flavor to it, which could just be a preference thing. The sides were fine with the meal, but I did order my steak medium rare and it came out more medium/medium done, so maybe beware of that! Their fries are good. I also got the cranberry mimosa and that wasn’t too bad.
I’d definitely come back and try their other dishes! And I definitely want to come back for their brunch menu. They have HH too, so it’s a good place for some HH bites or drinks.

Hurricane shrimp are not to be missed. Service has anyways been spot on. The red sangria is a favorite, not too sweet and goes down easy. Glasses are reasonable priced at $9. Chicken and wild rice soup is always hot and delicious. Chicken Marsala is also highly recommended.
Ordered to go to bring home after our meal and it was well packaged and still warm upon arrival.
Reservations recommended. Lot can get full during peak times but there is overflow. Location is on the ground floor of the 55+ apartment complex.

We went here at lunch on a gorgeous Saturday late morning, and they had seats available right away! Patio was full but they have huge walls that open to screen doors so even inside you feel the breeze! It was really roomy and the service was great too. We got the American Sunrise bowl, coffee cake and the steak tips. It was all so good, great flavor and you could tell how all the food was homemade, but very well made too. Steak tips were perfectly done, marinated and a great appetizer sized portion. The American sunrise bowl they were kind enough to split for us and it was still so much! Great biscuit, gravy was creamy and all the other parts hit right. Coffee cake was some of the best I’ve ever had, so light and not overly sweet. Overall a great experience, parking was fine too, you can street park if there’s no space in the lots

A favorite breakfast place of mine when I’m in the area. All American breakfast bowl is my go to. Usually I can finish it but it was a very large serving and had the leftovers for dinner. Service is always great and friendly, atmosphere is nice and open. Lunch is really good too. Haven’t had dinner here yet, I think the portions are a bit larger than the lunch size. Highly recommend to give it a try!

This is our goto restaurant when we’re in the Twin Cities to meet up with our son. They have a wonderful selection for breakfast. I had the short stack. It was too much for me! VERY, very good flavor. Did I mention the bottomless coffee? AWESOME!
