Sat down and ordered pretty quickly. It was 3:45 so place was not busy, only 2 other parties there. Ordered salads, a sandwich, and fish and chips. After waiting 30 MINUTES with no interaction with our waitress I flagged her down and asked about our food. We were told “they were working on it”. 15 min later we got our food which was OK at best. Waitress did not seem the least bit concerned about how long the food took but had plenty of time to talk with the bartender. 45 minutes for mediocre food and terrible service. Not recommended

A great find! The staff was cordial as soon as we walked in. Good menu, excellent food! Sam, our server was very friendly and she knew the menu and made perfect recommendations. Serving sizes were abundant and priced reasonably. Corn chowder w/ chorizo was out of this world. Burger was huge and cooked as asked. Excellent cocktails! Will definitely return.

This is such a nice and cozy place to stop in for lunch or dinner. The dining room is very quaint with an old New England flair and large bar area. Their British dishes are amazing! Menu items include cottage pie, fish & chips and nice English Prime rib dinner complete with Yorkshire pudding! Lots of nice beers on tap, too! Hard to find when driving down the street but look for the old red house with large parking lot on the side, and you’ll see the sign! Not a drive by.

Food is always amazing. AMAZING. It’s a small British Pub with great classics like the cottage pie and bangers & mash. Owner is a Manchester United fan so if you want to watch premier league games then you should come here (as long as Man U is playing)

Despite a relatively poor service experience, I will give them the benefit of the doubt. The meal was delicious and the waitstaff friendly – the Brimfield fair, I believe,e was the cause of our troubles one late evening on which I and my mother waited for what seemed an unreasonably long time for a seat.
The menu is not terribly unusual but the food was quite good and at the prices it was offered, well worth the prices if not quite the wait. I’d happily go back were I in the area again.

In the past the food has been pretty good here. Unfortunately at my most recent visit, every food that we ordered was overcooked or burnt and took almost an hour to come out of the kitchen despite there being less than 15 patrons. I ordered a salad that had a balsamic reduction and the balsamic reduction had been badly burnt, making the whole salad inedible.

This will be a go-to place for dining in the Sturbridge area. Friendly place and excellent food. I had bangers and mash. The sausages were lean and tasty, and the gravy tasted like it was scratch made. My wife had the cottage pie, which is like shepherd’s pie but made with beef instead of lamb. One of my pet peeves is when a menu says shepherd’s pie when the restaurant is actually serving cottage pie. If they don’t know the difference, I don’t have high hopes for the dish. The Copper Stallion serves a very good cottage pie. It was about an even ratio of potatoes and meat, and she raved about it. If you’re around Sturbridge MA and looking for good pub food, head to The Copper Stallion.

My sister and I went in for dinner the waitress was so sweet but was disappointed with the dinner and price! When we received the check and payed, asked for receipt the owner
discussed with the waitress letting her know the check was not right. He told her to go back to us and pay the difference, she was so embarrassed because we over heard her telling him it was right. I know he heard is telling her we are from San Diego and this is the way we were disrespected!! Will never go there again when we are here on business

I wish I could give this place 5 stars and tell everyone to go here because the food is so good we are surprised that it wasn’t packed. We went there ones before and the owner served us at the bar and we feel in love with the Food so the next time we thought it would be the same. On our way back from our honeymoon we decided to stop there for dinner it was about 3 and it wasn’t ready so we had a bowl of the best butternut bisque in the world and a drink the owner waiting on us again he was running the show due to the time. we decided we would stick around town and come back for dinner then left shopped around the town and came back for 5. They were ready for dinner and we were so excited and the fact that we waited a few hours we were even more excited that’s how good the food it. The owner Son and daughter came in to work and took over for the dad. That’s when we found out why no one was there. There was one other couple in there and we all sat with empty glasses because the kids were catching up with each other and talking. When our food came out I noticed that the fries were different, they were suppose to be truffle fries and a big reason why we went there. The son said they made a mistake and asked if I wanted the right fries I said yes and then the daughter came over and started to stay they are the same but didn’t have something on it and they wanted me to scoop my fries with all the sauce in a to go box so they could bring them back and were bickering to each other I said no thank you I will keep the fries and didn’t eat one I was so upset. As I said there with a still empty glass the owner came out and said sorry that he forgot to put them one, never refunded the different for them. It left a bad taste in our mouth and ended our honey moon on a sour note. We will not be going back. He should really think about maybe having his kids work in the back and not on the floor they might get more business. And clean the ladys room.

One here last night with a friend of mine. I ordered a Sex on the Beach which my friend drinks quite frequently. When she took a sip of her drink she knew there was something off, the taste and the color she called the waitress over and advised that her drink was not right. The waitress was extremely rude and defensive saying that she made the drink by the book and that is correct. My friends said no it was not and the waitress very rudely said let me know how you want to drink made and I will go make it.
My friend chose not to get a new drink made knowing / thinking that the waitress was going to spit in it.
