The atmosphere is lovely, and the restaurant has a good location. However, I am all about transparency when it comes to prices. I was asked if I wanted to add steak to my pasta. I said yes, I didn’t think it would be $14 more. I ended up paying $38 for a small bowl of pasta that wasn’t that good. I have had better pasta and bigger portions for half that price. I had pork belly for the appetizer, and it definitely wasn’t worth the $18. I am used to eating yummy pork belly. It was practically only fat and grease. The service was terrible. The waiter kept forgetting about us. I took my cousin, who I hadn’t seen in 20 years, and wanted her to have a nice time. The waiter brought our drinks around 15 minutes after we asked for them, for the appetizer took about half an hour or more, and our main dish arrived more than an hour after we asked for it. We kept waiting for everything we asked, so when she asked us if we wanted dessert, we said no, we were not going to wait another half an hour or more for it. The drink was yummy.

No reservations…no problem. We’ll at least at 5pm. By 6pm it was packed. Great food. Very tasteful and aromatic dishes. Loved the appetizers and the sides. This restaurant also serves great drinks. And sometimes drinks are hard to find in Salt Lake City. Excellent selection of vegetarian dishes with the best breaded cauliflower I have ever had. Oh service was very good too.

Very good food with excellent service. Mason took great care of us and dining outside in the evening was perfect. My wife ordered the Shrimp Fettucine and I ordered the burger. Both were great! I heard a lot about the burger which is why I ordered it, but at the end of the day, it was another delicious burger and I wished I had ordered something else. Let me be very clear, it was delicious and the duck fat aioli is noticeably good, but it just wasn’t enough to set it apart from other burgers. The fries were very good, above-average fries! I look forward to going back to try the stroganoff and more.

Great experience overall, 10/10, our date night included cocktails that actually give you a buzz along with great service and food. We had the ricotta dumplings for an appetizer and duck breast and special of New York Strip for the entrees. Would definitely come back and recommend for a date night. Solo dining would also be an option as the place does get a little loud, but honestly you’re there for the quality of the food and the talent of cooking that food.

Cacio e Pepe was very tasty! We sat at the chefs table and it was a sight to see every second of our visit. Talent and teamwork. The servers take their time to make sure food comes out correct and in a timely manner.

I must admit the porkbelly was spot on. Someone knew how to prepare the perfect mix of flavors, and it was perfectly tender. Ordered some fresh pasta made in house with carbonara, which was a huge miss. Not only was the fettuccine really dense (way past al dente) the sauce lacked that smooth creaminess of a well made carbonara, and the bacon ratio was way off. I didn’t include this picture because it didn’t merit a photograph. The strawberry Shortcake was a nice light semi sweet, ending. The waitress was kind and polite but not very timely. Some aspects of the menu seem incomplete. There are some basic necessities you should have available if you’re going to offer certain things on your menu.

The Carbonara was divine, please get it! You can tell from the taste and texture that the majority of the pieces (pasta, burger patty, fries, pickles, pickled onions, sauces, cheesecake, etc.) are made from scratch in house. Our server was so kind and knowledgeable. As for atmosphere, it was loud and bustling, in a nice way. Versatile vibes – could be a casual date, work gathering, friends hangout, or a celebratory meal. Definitely coming back to try the wagyu beef stroganoff.
