What a fantastic find! I recently visited The Copper Leaf Cafe and can see why everyone raves about it. The moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful, inviting ambiance.
The food was such a highlight too! Flavorful and clearly made with love and care. It was a super delicious, comforting breakfast / coffee.
The service was also wonderful. Genuinely friendly and attentive. They made me feel right at home. It’s an easy five-stars from me, and we can’t wait to go back!

Asked for crispy hash browns, received soggy hash browns in a pool of fake butter or grease
Toast was over buttered with too much butter and that is rare for me to say
The coffee was horrible, either very old or from a can and cheap grounds

The owners are friendly and know what they are doing! Their fresh baked bread and rosettes are absolutely amazing! If you haven’t tried them yet you should! We’ve eaten there a few times and have always been pleased with the food and service! Very happy overall!

Stopped and left just as fast. Says breakfast food. Everyone in there eating breakfast food at 11am. Was handed a lunch menu that only had 4 options. Really?!? Asked for breakfast and the cook said he rather stick to lunch. Lost 2 customers. Horrible attitude. Waitress was pleasant and place looked nice but that won’t fill ya up. Anywhere else in town is better.

Great food. Awesome Sunday breakfast. Two year’s in a row! Still great. I recommend the flank steak and eggs. Scouts liked the scrambled eggs, hash browns , hot cakes and sausage. Got chocolate is tasty after a cold camping weekend. Bathroom is spotless just like last year. Service excellent and attentive. The 1890s tin tray ceiling is gorgeous. Great place for family and friends.

So we have visited here twice now, the first time was not long after the new owners took over, and I wanted to give them another chance since they were new.
Both visits, the food was fantastic. No issues whatsoever there. The problem here is the service. Both times it is taken over 15 minutes for us to even get menus, and the first time we were the only table in there. On today’s visit, my toast was never delivered even after reminding the server… who seemed annoyed by me, I had to get my own hot sauce off another table because we we were never checked on, our drinks were never refilled, and our server just seemed annoyed to be there. Kept complaining that people kept coming in. There were never more than five tables the entire time we were there.
This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Stockton, and sadly we will not be returning.

Service was horrible. The waitress was crabby. We had arrived between the breakfast menu and the lunch menu. Others in my group ordered breakfast, and I couldn’t even order lunch for 15 minutes. Their meal came they finished dishes were taken away. She took lunch orders from 2 other groups of 3, served them their meals, cleaned off tables and a half an hour later placed my order. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! I’ll never eat there again til they change ownership again, which will probably be soon if that kind of service continues.

Sunday morning brunch – quaint, neat place for breakfast. Food is good. Omelette made to order; you pick your ingredients. Even has a neat bookshelf if you want to read.
