Copper is born from two legacies. For over 250 years, the ovens of L’Antica Da Michele have defined true Neapolitan pizza-and at Copper, we proudly carry that flame. Using time-honored techniques and 250-year-old recipes, our dough is slowly developed, then baked in a blazing wood-fired oven that gives every pizza its signature char, light texture, and subtle smoky flavor.
Our name also honors The Copper Coffee Pot, the first restaurant in this historic space and a beloved gathering place for locals. By keeping Copper, we celebrate the memories, first dates, and family traditions that began within these walls.
We import key ingredients directly from Italy, from creamy fior di latte mozzarella to sharp, nutty Pecorino Romano, to ensure eve

I had a bad experience with the Pizza purchased today. The box was so big for Large size pizza and the pizza inside was small size.
Also, the pizza was kind of burnt from the backside , you can feel it while eating , I paid $24.78 for Margarita pizza along with taxes, which is not at all worth it.
Dominos is better than it, it was closed today on Thanksgiving so went to L’Antica.
They really need to improve.

Copper has some of the best pizza and pasta in town. I’ve been stopping by since their grand opening, and the quality was excellent (though I’m not a big fan of the tiramisu). The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the outdoor courtyard is very cute and relaxing, with a beautiful water fountain that’s been there for 100 years. I’m definitely coming back—highly recommended!

I visited Copper Santa Barbara for dinner last week, and I had a delightful experience! The atmosphere was cozy, with warm lighting and charming Italian decor. The staff greeted us warmly and were attentive throughout our meal.
I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was delicious! The crust was perfectly crispy, and the fresh basil added a lovely flavor. My friend enjoyed the Fettuccine Alfredo, which was creamy and rich. For drinks, we tried their house-made limoncello, and it was refreshing.
Prices were reasonable for the quality, making it a great value for a nice dinner out. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. I can’t wait to return and try their tiramisu!
Overall, I highly recommend Copper Santa Barbara for anyone looking for authentic Italian food in a warm setting. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️

This is my first time in Santa Barbara and we chose this restaurant from the reviews and menu, wow what a perfect choice. I highly recommend coming here if you find yourself in Santa Barbara! Service was superb and we felt well taken care of.

Under new ownership, The Copper is a new favorite in this town full of great restaurants! The pizza with arugula and prosciutto was absolutely delicious (nice to have an option for crisped prosciutto, if desired, which was lovely). The pizza was enough for three of us to share with an appetizer (perfectly done, crispy, umami-dense brussel sprouts). The service was warm and attentive (by the owner himself) and we appreciated how he has preserved and enhanced this sweet historic space — a little gem on State Street. The menu had a lot of options to look forward to on our next visit! We’ve already made reservations to return on Valentine’s Day!

My husband and I came here our first night and enjoyed the arugula prosciutto pizza with a change to replace the white pizza with tomato sauce. Delicious! So delicious that the next night we were too tired to go out and ordered two pizzas from them and had it delivered!! It was easy as pizza pie!! Only thing I forgot is that our preference is a red pizza v. White pizza and forgot to change the order. But that’s my error. They delivered it quickly and it was still delicious!! We highly recommend!! The night we were at the restaurant, our server was very nice, friendly and helpful!! Enjoy!

We visited all the pizzerias “L’Antica” in California. Everywhere we were convinced that they serve the most delicious pizza! But this restaurant needs repair or updating. Also, it was not customary to sit near the piled up spare chairs.

This was our first visit to this newly re-branded spot. They seem understaffed, so quite slow. The owner visited us which was very nice, and mentioned they were overwhelmed the night before during their well-attended grand opening. The overall vibe was unfortunately dominated by bad jazz playing overhead. Not just one tune either – lots of bad jazz. Attractively decorated place. The chairs are comfy. Waited a long time for a Cesar salad to arrive – yes, just a salad. Seems the needed extra time was to thoroughly drown it in dressing. Black pepper by request only. The pizza came immediately after the salad arrived, so we had to park the salad to enjoy the warm pizza first. Tasty pizza, if a bit pricey.

I was visiting Santa Barbara with my boyfriend and we found this restaurant. What a stroke of luck! It was so cute and the food was fantastic! We were there on Valentines Day for a date, the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic date night. The location was great too as it is right there on State Street which is the lively heart of Santa Barbara. I can’t wait to go back there when I go back to Santa Barbara!
