The calamari starter didn’t feel fresh out of the fryer as it was only Luke warm. Same for the fries that came with our dishes. The pork chop had good flavor but was a bit on the dry side.
The positive is the service was good, fairly attentive except for the water refill, which always needed asking. The location is good with free parking at the mall and music wasn’t too loud.
Won’t be first option when dining in WC with so many good options around but won’t count it out either.
Our group ordered the fried chicken sandwich, Ahi tuna burger, regular burger, and shrimp & grits. Most dishes were good, but I had to return the fried chicken sandwich—it was overly burnt and tasted like it had been fried in old oil. I swapped it for the Cooper Girl, which turned out to be excellent. Service was okay, but not particularly outstanding.
Service was attentive and fast.
The tomato burrato pesto was terrible. There were very few tomatos and a soup of pesto sauce.
The beat salad was good. Expensive for the quality of the food. I do not recommend this restaurant.
The atmosphere is upscale and nice, but it was very noisy when we were there for dinner period there was a table next to us.They were drinking too much wine, and they were facing us and shouting at the tops of their lungs to each other, and we couldn’t hear each other think or talk. And with the floors being concrete and no soundproofing, the whole place was a loud restaurant. When you’re paying that much for dinner, I would like a nicer, quieter atmosphere.
