Great food and wonderful servers. We split a 1/2 chicken with an assortment of sides. Mac n Cheese, beans and rice and the tortilla soup was out of this world. Deep flavors and colors. We split a bowl and it was huge. Plenty of good food here.

My favorite place to eat in Gillette!
We started with the fried chicken gizzards. I really appreciate that they allowed us to do a half order, it made the difference because it was still a huge portion.
Sister got the pot pie; she remembered liking it a lot, but this time she said mine was better and she would get mine next time.
I got the same thing I used to:
Super flavorful skin on the rotisserie chicken, my baby loves the black beans, and I don’t remember the garlic green beans being so delicious, but they’re excellent! Wish I had the recipe, since I love a state away!

Really happy to find this place on our trip back east. It was filling but not overwhelming like your typical fast food. Very creative menu of chicken and food had a great flavor. They were quick too which I appreciate cause we were trying to get back on the road. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly.

I recently visited The COOP in Gillette, Wyoming, based on high recommendations from the locals. Unfortunately, my experience was quite underwhelming.
I started with what was described as homemade breaded cheese triangles, which turned out to be heavily breaded cheese empanadas that tasted overly greasy. For my main course, I ordered the half chicken with corn and French fries. The corn consisted of two small cobs, both of which were burnt, and the chicken, while edible, lacked flavor—I’ve honestly had better from Costco.
While the food fell short of expectations, I will note that the service was pleasant; the waitress was kind and attentive without being overbearing. Despite this, I don’t anticipate returning.

The quality and taste of the food was spot on! Tends to fill up fast since the seating is limited and they started to run out of many menu options as we got closer to the end of our meal, so arriving earlier is better! They had outside seating, but they said that the wasps have been really bad and there’s no lighting for when it gets dark, so that was a disappointment. All things said, I will definitely eat here again. 8/10.

Arrived at lunch time and got seated immediately. A few people were waiting to be seated when we left. Plenty of parking and east access. Food was well prepared and reasonably priced.

For takeout, mediocre at best. Flavor profile and texture profile are not cohesive once placed in the Styrofoam boxes and left to sit for a few minutes. I ordered the Garlic green beans, they were delicious, but the two entrées I tried, the macnarello (glorified Mac n cheese with scraps of chicken and a few broccoli florets) and the chicken chorizo tacos had little to no flavor. The cheese sauce would not stick to the macaroni and the soft corn tortillas for the tacos had fallen apart BEFORE I went to pick one up. I imagine if you dine in, it would be much better. This place is not for the travel who is on the go.

This place is great! I love the reggae music and friendly atmosphere. The bathroom has all kinds of cute inspirational posters. The whole bird is great for sharing.

Worth the hype, for sure. We went right when they opened on a Friday, expecting it to fill quickly, but it must have been a slower day. We wouldn’t have had to wait at all, even by 11:45am, when we left. Going to try to hit it again for lunch on our way home. The tacos and empanadas were great, but for us.. the beans and rice were also a huge #1. We took the leftovers and devoured them later that night. So good.
