I got the Chicken and waffles, most definitely would recommend if you are looking to satisfy that craving. The grits were done slight different but I actually thought they were decent. Also got a good tip on were bomb mac n cheese was too. Definitely would stop again!

Omg Ive been trying to make my way over here for ao long and finally go my last butt up and over. Dont sleep on and get yourself over here. I LOVE IT!! I got the biscuit boat with fish and Im hooked it was soooo good. My daughter got the shrimp and grits and let me tell you. I love grits and most restaurants cant get them right but you know they did. Gotta make myself get up to come back.

Maybe one of the best food establishments on the westbank. Not only to mention they have one of the best owner who not only take care of the customers but you can tell they take of the staff there. Chickens kitchen/ the coop will forever be one of my favorites places to go.

Love Chickens kitchen, I just wish they had dinner hours. My favorites are the chicken strips, fried chicken and Brussels sprouts with extra glaze. Everything is so good, I highly recommend!

This place is so good. Got the shrimp and grits and 10/10 highly recommended. Mix in the soft fluffy biscuit and now I’m obsessed. The prices beat anywhere for the amount of food and flavor you’re getting. They get you in and out quick enough but it took about 10 min with a line.

Stopped by The Coop after a morning workout. Got the Catfish and Grits (first time having those two together in my life). The grits were great. They looked runny at first, but they tightened up on the way home and had the right amount of salt. The eggs were truly the best I ever had. Salty and buttery with great flavor and texture. I’ve had this catfish from Chicken’s before. This was the same. It was a lil less salty and lemony, but that was fine with me. I wasn’t a huge fan of the biscuit. It had good flavor, with the sweet glaze, but it was too much like cake for me. Also, the wax paper they put on top of the grits to set the fish on, basically soaks up the butter they put in the grits. I’ll find a way around that next time. Overall, everything was delicious.

Gumbo and Grits was not something I ever thought of having together, but oh let me tell you it touched my lil soul. I made 2 meals from 1 small cup. Breakfast and dinner! It was every bit of the chef’s kiss in that bowl. Good choice chef!
