The atmosphere here reminds me of restaurants I visited near the gulf. You can smell the seafood cooking in the back, and the vibe seemed to fit a date night. You can see the team hard at work in the back, and you know care is being taken to make a good meal.

Bread and oil: Fluffy, warm bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Light herbs floated in the mixture. The bread was good on its own, and it paired nicely with the liquid add-ons.

The halibut: The thicker area of the halibut was perfectly cooked, with the tail end being a little over. The aioli, while tasty, was laid on a little thick. It was roughly 50/50 aioli:halibut on the tail end, and 30/60 on the thickest portion. Seasoning was on point. The dish neither required additional salt and pepper, nor suffered from an abundance of it; the chef’s experience was exemplified by that. The biggest flaw with this dish for me was I did bite down on a pin bone. It made the experience less enjoyable for me, but I don’t believe this is the standard here.
Potatoes: a little soggy on the outside with little crispy bits popping in to say hello before continuing on their way. The inside was just done, providing some resistance in the middle without any unpleasant crunch of raw potato.
Veggies: Squash made up the bulk, and I can’t fault this part. There was a bite, but it was cooked through and seasoned appropriately.
Veggie Penne: cheesy, plentiful, and ratios were right on.

Service was fast, present when needed, and pleasant when present. Chef came to check on the dishes (just before I found the pin bone) which is always welcome.

Overall: The dishes were good, the service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of a gulf seafood restaurant. While there were a couple missteps, this restaurant is worth trying regardless of whether you’re craving land, air, or sea.

Originally I was going to give them one cause they had The customer service is amazing depending on who you have as your server. I got steak and it was good but had a lot of gristle. I guess you might argue it was a $38 steak and not a $56 one of a high end restaurant! Maybe! Or that I had a bad luck of getting a bad piece but I won’t be going back! It was too greasy and too much gristle for me to want to try it again. I gave overall 3 though mostly for the waitress I had. She was a 5/5.

The food was wildly good, some of the best I’ve had in a long time from a restaurant. Everything seemed fresh and well made, and the potions were awesome! We shared the artichoke dip, I had the salmon, sister had the chicken parm and her fiancé had the fish and chips. All absolutely delicious!!
And the photo of the cheesecake speaks for itself

We stopped in not realizing that the restaurant was closing soon. When we asked for our order to go the staff and the owner were very kind and insisted that we stay and finish. The service was great and the food was amazing. Steak that melted in your mouth and the coconut shrimp was to die for. Cheesecake for desert was also scrumptious. Will definitely be coming back!

Excellent food, friendly servers, and chill atmosphere. The tomato basil soup and caprese salad were just the thing for lunch on this warm day.

This little unassuming corner restaurant has stellar food! We’ve been there twice now and we will continue to go back. You must have the fish and chips made from mahi and the french dip is amazing.
