My first time here and it was good! I got the turkey sandwich on toasted white bread and the vegetable beef soup! I only had 1 piece of beef in my soup but it was good still! I really enjoy the old back in the day feel it has, very nostalgic! I’ll be back when I can because they close at 2pm!

This is the most quintessential sandwich shoppe, I have ever been too! The absolute best sandwiches and soups, oh I can’t forget the namesake the delicious baked fresh daily cookies! I also love the employees and the sweet owner, they still yell the orders to the back and all the old framed newspaper articles all over the walls really make it feel like you stepped back in time! One of the most enjoyable places to have lunch! The chicken salad was the best that I’ve ever eaten! I wish I had been in Albany longer to try other sandwiches on the menu! This was my first time eating at The Cookie Shoppe in over 5 years. I ordered the Triple Cheese Combo with 2-Coconut Drop cookies and a Pepsi. The food was delish as always and the restaurant was as crowded as expected. But I was able to get my order in a timely fashion. I will be back.

Great homemade food. The chicken and tuma salad plates are great with all the fixings and they have one of the best Ruben’s in town. Great cookies, breakfast, and lunch. Soups are great, too. Give em a try!! We like to go about once a week!!

We went in for lunch today and the food was spectacular. I love this little place. We had a pb&j, vegetable beef soup, chips, and two cookies. The employees are super friendly and do a great job! The owner said my daughter was adorable and wanted to hold her! I had to convince her to give her back. So sweet.

Mannnnn listen the environment and the people was so welcoming so fresh in the air. Now let’s get to the cookie that I done had the oatmeal cookie. Best cookie I had in my life! If I stayed 100 miles out I’ll drive at least once a week, no twice a week to grab me a dozen of those cookies. This is the spot to go to and not only that they have sandwiches as well that I heard is on the same level. Man stop playing and go get you some good auntie loving at the cookie shoppe!
