i was so excited to hear that they do special orders for special occasions !! my sisters birthday was this weekend and it’s so hard to find GOOD GLUTEN FREE desserts! i wasn’t expecting her to have that option and i was pleasantly surprised:)) we got a gluten free, 8in, 2-tier chocolate cake and it was so good! my sister was so excited to be able to eat the cake without feeling bad afterwards ! i sent her inspo pictures and the design turned out so cute and spot on ! tysm for taking our order kinda last minute !<3

I was a baker for 52 years. I travel all over the US and stop at bakeries all over on my travels. I am retired now but I still enjoy going into bakeries to check them out. We had a bakery for 20 years and I miss it. When I stopped at the Cookie Jar I was greeted by the owner warmly. I looked around at her products. I purchased several items. When we tried them we were very impressed. Everything was fresh and delicious. She had nice looking items and all of them were great! If you get within a hundred miles of the Cookie Jar it’s a worthwhile stop. Lord bless

When traveling, I like to try local bakeries. This one is amazing. Tried a brownie with nuts and a pecan bar. Wish I could stay in Deming longer!
Update: Returned for a breakfast of lemon bar and pistachio cookie. We decided that this is the best bakery we’ve ever been to.

Very nice sweets, not overly sweet like grocery stores it was just right and my favorite was probably the lemon bar or oatmeal cookie and this just blew me away. The baked goods were all handmade and very good price the pastries were very well balanced, if you are ever in the area come to The Cookie Jar, I definately reccomend.
