Got a table for two here on a Tuesday night. I got bangers and mash. She got the chicken schnitzel. Two cocktails and the Boxty. The atmosphere was fantastic if the music was a little loud. The service was prompt and impeccable. We enjoyed the boxty and bangers, however the schnitzel seemed dry and light on flavor. Can’t wait to see how they add to the menu over time. This has all the makings of a good hangout.

Fantastic food. Great vibe. The open concept feels airy, but cozy at the same time. Awesome beer selection and friendly staff. 10/10. Instant neighborhood staple.

We stopped in on Saturday opening weekend. The food and service were great! Mike, the owner, was working hard floating around the dining room seating people and clearing tables. We have been looking forward to this neighborhood establishment opening and will visit often.

I was initially really just excited to have a new place on my street, but I was really impressed with everything. The decor and fixtures are thoughtfully selected, and the limited menu was packed with tough decisions. I got the scotch egg and shepherd’s pie; the egg wasn’t overcooked as one often finds, the sausage was flavorful, and the mustard was a perfect complement. The shepherd’s pie (authentic, lamb-based) was hearty and savory, and probably the best I’ve had outside my own kitchen. My husband enjoyed the French onion soup and fish and chips, but we’re going to have to go back for more soon. The bangers and mash and chicken schnitzel are calling.

Awesome opening, food as advertised and great, had the steak (perfectly med rare). Especially impressive on day 2 of their existence.

The food was good, but they’ve crammed too much seating into the space. Be prepared to be bumping feet with whoever’s across the table from you.
