The Concord Cafe is back and better than ever. Had lunch and dinner there today and the food is shut your mouth good. Upscale southern food, and the coffee house vibes are immaculate. Local decor adds to atmosphere.

I gave a 2 star just because the food was good. However waiting an hour and 15 minutes to get a hamburger and chicken sandwich with fries was ridiculous. We saw people getting there food that came in 30
Minutes after us getting their food (hamburgers with fries). I have always believed in supporting local but looks like we will have to go other places to support. At no time did we even get an apology for having to wait . We ended up getting the food to go due to the wait. I could have understood if they were packed however there were 4 other groups in there when we got there . Honestly can not find any reason for that long of a wait.

Good was good. But both times I went in to place a to go order, the lady who took my order was extremely rude. She acted like she couldn’t crack a smile and was rude to the other employees. I don’t know her name but she is probably in her 40-50’s with brown hair. Everyone else was nice.

Very small portions for the price. Chicken and dressing was awful. The chicken was refrigerator cold, overcooked, and dry and tough and tasteless. It looked like it had been boiled. The piece of chicken I got was slightly larger than a typical sausage patty. The dressing was very overly spiced. All I could taste was the spice. Not the Southern dressing I’m used to. Squash casserole was OK, but only got less than a half bowl serving. Green beans were nothing special. Service was fine. I did notice that other people got larger servings than me. I left hungry.

I have been 3 times this week! The Smash Burgers are fantastic! The fries are delicious I had the Cubed Steak w/Mushroom Gravy & Red Skin Mashed Potatoes & Black-eyed Peas for my Blue Plate Special… OUTSTANDING! Thank You Ladies for opening up the most flavorful restaurant around a 3 County area!!

Had the best experience that absolutely made my day. Had a wonderful meal but the big surprise was that my meal came with a beautiful corn muffin that I asked for it to be taken off my plate because I am fairly new diagnosed gluten sensitivity. Then the owner assured me I could have it because it was gluten free! First, it tasted great! Second they offered many GF items because the owner knows all about it!!!! I left with a slice of GF red velvet cheesecake to go. Tears welled up as it just made the most perfect day. Mostly because I was with my daughter and now Concord Cafe is my new go-to favorite restaurant!!!!!

I don’t normally post reviews of restaurants on here but I would like to say I received EXCEPTIONAL service from my waitress , Kaley this evening. She checked on my table numerous times asking if we needed anything , she was very attentive and had such a positive attitude. I wasn’t having the best day today , but she brightened the whole mood. Aside from the food being delicious , I would definitely come back here and recommend to a friend simply from the service alone !
