Went to The Compound for dinner tonight! Very excited that their location is the old 3 Rivers Distillary because I just know this summers patio season will be great! Got the Twinkie as an app which is sharable with 2 people, the 2 meat platter, the Burger and the corn pudding…all soo good!

I got the 2 meat 2 side barbecue platter. Honestly I thought it was really good, got the pulled pork and spare ribs. The corn bread pudding was super tasty too. The food was better tasting than my experience at shigs in pit and the sauces were better too.

The pizza was phenomenal! The crust struck the perfect balance—not overly crispy, but infused with a rich, smoky essence from the brick oven that provided incredible depth of flavor. The Street Corn Pudding was a highlight; its velvety texture literally melted in my mouth. Although the weather was too brisk to dine outside during this visit, I look forward to returning when it’s warmer to enjoy the spacious outdoor patio and bar area inside. The service was equally impressive, as the staff was both friendly and engaging.

My husband and I stopped in while in town. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
The classic crust pizza was light and delicious! We ended up having two 12” pizzas and felt great afterwards. Not greasy or heavy at all! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!
The cupping pepperoni is *chefs kiss* and the spicy sauce is subtle and oh so delicious!
The vibe and music was great too. Margarita on tap was delicious and the beer was good too!

I went to check out the new Papi’s location and discovered that its also a BBQ joint. WE had the DTLA, Pickle Dickle and Jalapeno Hunny. All so good! great looking place, fair prices and nice people running it. Solid option for personal or shared pizza. The rest of the barbeque menu looks SOLID. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything we tried was amazing! We tried the Pickle Dickle pizza, Caesar salad, BBQ Pork Belly, and Micheladas. We will definitely be back to try more of the BBQ. There was only one server on and he was fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Go check this place out! Worth it!

Everyone was very pleased with their foods. Not the typical location when you think restaurant, but it will suprise you. Small, cozy, don’t bring the big truck just the car. Food will bring you back. Sweet corn pudding, hash brown casserole yes please.

Truly an amazing place. 5/5 atmosphere. 80s/90s themed (including music). Staff were very kind and attentive. Prices are super fair for the quality. Pizza was fantastic. The crust was nice and chewy but also well-charred. Will absolutely be back. Just to make this seem like a fair review, I will say, it was quite hot in there because of the pizza oven and the furnace being on. However, as soon as I sunk my teeth into the Meat Me OTL pizza, I no longer cared about what the thermostat said.

I just recently had an event catered by Papis at The Embassy. Something I was really looking forward to, finding out they were a certified vendor for the embassy. My now husband and I met at pizza hut. Pizza is actually a really big significance to our relationship. The day of our event there were no heating kits that we paid for to keep the pizza warm. I was lied to the day of the wedding and told they were in the back. The day after the wedding our quote was edited for “missed heating kits.” Only taking away 50 dollars when everything was cold. Not a single slice warm. We would have been better off ordering pizza for delivery at the exact time we need it, being warmer. Or if someone let me know I could have had an aunt grab her own buffet heating kits for me. My question is do you have heating kits? If so why did no one go grab them knowing they were forgeten, your location new and old in the same city. If you dont have them, why are you listed as a cater for the embassy? What happened last sunday was honestly embarrassing for how long I myself have been in the wedding industry and how much we both know about pizza. No one has reached out to apologize. The main phone line isn’t available because your location is moving and honestly I tried really hard not to write review until I spoke to someone. Ill also will be reaching out to the embassy because if they are going to limit people options for caters they should 100% have caters who have the ability to keep food warm. What happened?
