The Commonwealth Texas brings together community and possibility to redefine what the neighborhood watering hole should be. We’re a bourbon bar, restaurant, speakeasy, pickleball, outfitter, live music and event venue. But where the rubber really meets the road, we’re a place for community. We don’t save the good bottles for special occassions. When you realize that every minute we’re given by the good Lord is special, you realize that it’s time to get ta livin’…and we wanted to build a place to do just that. So bring your friends, your family, your colleagues, your church softball team, your therapist, your attorney, your teacher, your pastor, your crossfit instructor, your country music band, your boo, your beau, and anyone else.

Decided to visit here while passing through the area. It was a little out the way but we’ll worth it. It seemed to have a small town feel at first but as the evening went on the environment screamed big time vibes!
The food was really good but even more the manager, whom we thought, was very friendly and accommodating and really made the experience great. Not to mention how gorgeous the place looked inside and out. Nothing negative to say;, great food, great people and awesome establishment.

The place is a VIBEEE!!! The restaurant is insanely beautiful with lots of indoor and outdoor space for summer activities. I adored the welcome we got when we arrived and the service was impeccable. The craft cocktails were perfect, the bartenders know what they are doing! The food did not disappoint as well. The presentation, the taste, all of the food we had was absolutely delicious!! Literally the best restaurant in this price point I’ve been to. I asked for 2 separate tables in my reservation, they not only read and honored that, they marked them reserved and knew who I was. While we were eating, a staff member was Literally cleaning the LEGS of the chairs near us – not just the seats. The price was great, Izzy our server was amazing – a funny person who made our date great – and the food was excellent. I highly recommend the salmon, it didn’t taste fishy. Would definitely come here anytime.

One of my new favorite spots in the Belton Temple area. The esquire cocktail and donuts make the perfect pair! Food was fast, came out just right and the bill didn’t hurt. Can out recommend them enough.

The food is excellent! The quality of the ingredients (clean, local) is far superior to most other restaurants in the area.
The prices are a bit high but it’s totally worth it. The decor is stunning. Secret doors, a speakeasy, pickleball courts, concert stage and plenty of indoor/ outdoor seating. Andia is a top notch employee. Attentative, knowledgeable and friendly. We’re totally taking our friends here every chance we get!

Right in our backyard and exactly what our town needs! We went last Wednesday for the 1st time and Delaney served us above and beyond. The drinks, appetizers and food are a cut above and fashionable! We’ll be coming back for more and bringing family next visit! Love the pickleball courts and the children’s area and Cornhole! Just brilliant!

I live close by so I was excited to finally get to stop by after watching it being built. Went in for lunch on a Tuesday since it wasn’t crowded. My wife and I felt very welcome when we entered and were quickly seated. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. We placed our order and it didn’t take long for our food to be delivered. My wife had a Pollo Loco and it looked really good! she enjoyed the sandwich very much. I had the Gulf Fried Platter and it was delicious! The shrimp on the platter were butterflied and cooked perfectly and were probably the best shrimp I have ever had! The catfish was well prepared and had great flavor. I loved everything about my lunch and I look forward to coming back for dinner with friends to try some of the other offerings. And, with the amazing collection behind the bar, I think a nice Old Fashioned will be in order!

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! The details on the inside are absolutely stunning. The food was amazing, the 6 of us had 6 different things and we all cleaned our plates. Pork tenderloin, chicken pot pasta, crusted cod, chicken fried steak, cheeseburger, kids mac and cheese- there is something for everyone. We played pickle ball after, we got lucky however I would suggest making a reservation like we did with our table to ensure you get a spot. Reservations are super easy to make, use your phone online or call them- they pick up the phone right away. Very neat/ clean/ fancy. Top notch service and the owners are super cool! Thank y’all again! Can’t wait to come back!!

My husband took me here for a surprise dinner date and boy was I surprised. 1st off I really appreciate a great atmosphere and from the moment I walked in to the time I left I felt nothing but positive energy. Everything came out hot and delicious. The drinks were amazing. The establishment is beautiful. The selfie mirror with the LED lights is a must see. Our waiter told me about it We will definitely return. I peeped the brunch menu so I’ll be back for a brunch date. ❤️
