This is a pretty cool hangout that has lots of love music visit. Drinks are good and service was good. There are a couple good tricks out back if you’re hungry. The place was clean throughout and was an adult only hangout. Parking was ok. Prices were reasonable. I’ll go back when there is music that looks interesting.

Nice commonwealth decoration theme inside. Friendly service Limited draft menu and a bit higher prices than other pub. No food, however there is a food cart next door and they allow you to bring in food from the cart. The fish n chips were a bit too greasy, Limited parking, pretty empty at lunch time. Overall just a solid pub. They have live music at night.

The atmosphere of this place was really cool. Absolutely love the live music. Tried to order a Mai Tai and that must’ve been the worst one I have ever (tried) to drink. Had it switched out for a mule drink which I swear was straight lime juice. This place is super cool if you are okay drinking beer but I do NOT recommend the mix drinks as I literally took 2 sips and left it on the table. Also let it be known, I am not a picky person. Lol

Great down to earth atmosphere. I like going out to local music, and good shows keep turning up here. Cover is small, if any. Service is kind, and atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy a pint with friends.

Met a friend there to have a glass of vino and listen to the free jazz. The music was great and not so loud you could not carry on a conversation. The venue was very comfortable and the service was good. Where else can you get a glass of wine for $10! Really like this new place and will come back for sure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A good mix of laid back bar and exhibition area for local musicians. Get the seat on the far side, left of the stage as you face it. It’s the Emperor’s Table. You can see the whole spot from there.

Okay, full disclosure, my band Funk Around & Find Out host the Musicians Open Showcase at the Commonwealth every Monday night. We have also have gigged there. I can say pound for pound this is the best stage in town for musicians to play and an amazing family friendly atmosphere for folks that want to have some great cart food, great drinks and see the best bands that Bend has to offer. The staff is hands down the friendliest in town and you might catch one of the owners Dan Larsson up on the stage playing Bass and singing his lungs out. You need to be the Commonwealths Norm!
