It’s a friendly community ran cafe, cozy environment as you can see, and despite the barista is all working alone, they are attending to orders as fast as they can. Coffee is great and so is the scone even when unheated…so…

The Commons is super unique, delicious, and everyone is so polite. They have new and used books for sale, even selections from local authors. We sat outside in July and the patio was wonderful this time of year. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Langley or just passing through

Where to get a Vegetarian burrito that doesn’t fall apart into a mess and manages to complement all the flavors in a soft tortilla? If you need it spicier, don’t worry, they’ve got it covered with an array of mild to ghost pepper hot. Everything else was good too. Even though it’s a bit complicated to visit by public transport from central Seattle, I would go there again.

I got a matcha tea and Bahn mi sandwich with tofu. Everything was tasty. It took a while to get my sandwich but it also looked like they were fairly busy.

It was nice to be able to sit outside on a sunny day and bring my dog. They had water dishes out for dogs and umbrellas to provide shade. Lots of outdoor seating.

My first time at The Commons, and it didn’t disappoint! I had the turkey pesto sandwich with a salad and an oat milk chai. The sandwich was amazing—totally unexpected to get a full piece of chicken! The service was quirky and friendly, which I really appreciate. Their book section was fantastic, featuring tons of local authors, and I especially enjoyed browsing the poetry section while waiting for my food. It’s a quaint, delicious little spot, with a cozy vibe—several people seemed posted up working on laptops. I’ll definitely be back for both the food and as a potential work spot!

Today, we had lunch on the patio. What a welcoming spot. The B.L.A.T.T. and quiche of the day were delicious. Sitting here on a beautiful sunny day, enjoying a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich with added turkey – what could be better! We would definitely return when in the area.

In the surface, this place is really cute and I like the overall vibe, but I had two major turn offs. Customers cannot use the bathroom…how do you have a commons without a public bathroom? Secondly, and I don’t know if this is the cafe itself or a group of elder customers in the cafe, but there was a lingering smell of cat pee and cigarettes.

Hopefully both of these situations are temporary. Food was fine, cafe itself is quite cute.

Loved the experience here. Must visit place. The person serving was super jovial and appropriately chatty..
It was a partly sunny day. We had a vegan muffin which was the best ever. We don’t eat eggs and hence most times it’s hard to get good yummy muffins. But this one was perfect. Perfectly sweet- not tooo much sweet like every time.
Perfect texture- not dry.
We loved the ambience. They had seating outside as well as inside. Loved spending time with family here.
