What a great option for a lunchtime take away food. They have special parking in the rear for that and a private entrance. The other side (main entrance on the north side) tends to be very busy at lunchtime so it’s nice to have this easy entrance on the south side.

A couple of TX folks driving through Concord and a Google search led us here. I ordered the pot pie and when I say this was hands down the best I have ever had, I don’t mean by a little bit, I mean there’s no contest. I’d be very interested to try the rest of the menu and I’d I find my way back to Concord, I’ll do just that.

We picked The Common Man on the basis of the positive reviews, and the menu looked great. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff were very attentive, and the food was phenomenal. They also do a few little things that I really enjoyed, you can go up and get cheese and crackers ahead of your meal, and when they give you bread before eating, they give you literally 4-5 different kinds, all high end and homemade. It was a really nice touch. At the end of the meal they also give you white chocolate that they make on-site. Overall we could not have been happier with this restaurant, will definitely come back when we’re in the area.

Great food, but we didn’t book a reservation, ended up waiting for an hour to get a table. But I’d say it’s worth the wait! The food was very delicious and the amount was a lot, at least to us. The price for dinner was reasonable and we ended ip super full with two appetizers and two main dishes. I’d suggest to book a reservation before arriving so you don’t have to wait in a crowed.

You can tell it’s good when there’s still a wait at lunch. Well worth the wait and fighting for parking (the lot is small, but there is an overflow down left of the hotel). Reasonably priced, great tasting food.

This place was awesome. The food was delicious and the surroundings were amazing. Had a wonderful dinner and left satisfied and happy. However, our food took over an hour to come out and people that got seated before us got their entrees first. For that reason, I’m going to have to remove a star.

Ryan was a terrific server! We got refills, and any requests were swiftly filled. Apple walnut chicken was tasty, moist & very filling! Upstairs bar is chatty, very comfy with a variety of seating from couch to hi- tops. Lobster roll deserved praise, too. Looked too good to eat!
