This is such a fun, cute place to eat and the food is seriously SO GOOD! Both of my kids said their burgers were the best they’ve ever had. Our waiter recommended the Reuben and it was amazing. The sweet potato fries come with cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar and a caramel dipping sauce and they are dope.

I ordered the patty melt and fries and it was really good as well. Food was very fresh and came out quickly. It may be the best burger in Birch Run! We’ll be back again.

Never judge a book by its cover. This was an amazing diner and the manager was absolutely friendly and very on point with service. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend coming back here. I got the Philly steak sandwich with cheesy fries. Also the classic Rubin with tater tots was on point! Good food made fresh and good environment and family-friendly for the kids. I highly recommend it.

This place was really cool, vintage aesthetic still in the whole place. Food was really good considering it is a diner and there were a lot of options to choose from. Came here with some family members and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and had a good time. Would go again.

We walked in with an entire soccer team and parents in the middle of the afternoon. The staff was able to accommodate us quickly and had enlisted extra help in short order. They were so pleasant entertaining all the 9 year old players at the soda bar. The food came out surprisingly quickly given the influx of so many orders. The black & blue burger and onion rings hit the spot, but the real highlight were their hand dipped shakes!

My sister and I stopped here on our way through town and had a great experience! The food was good, they had a variety classic American style options. The service was excellent! Staff were extremely kind and food was delivered in a timely manner. We adored the 50s style and decorations.

A must do experience! The Cowboy burger was the best burger I’ve had in a very long time. They didn’t even ask how I would like it cooked – they knew the perfect way to cook it and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! And don’t get me going on the sweet potato fries – fantastic! And the service – the older lady was super helpful and very friendly. If I could have rated this place 100 stars, I would have.

We stopped at the diner on our visit to Frankenmuth. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity of dining at a legit classic diner!
Everything we ordered tasted great. The dishes are paired very well in ingredients. The young lady who waited on us did a great job. The diner had a good amount of people in it the whole time we were there. Definitely seems to be a local favorite.
If you’re a local or a tourist, I definitely recommend the comet diner. Next time we go back, we gotta try for lunch or dinner!

We stopped while driving through. This is an oldies themed diner. They had specials which I didn’t see posted and the waitress didn’t mention anything about that. The menu is somewhat limited to sandwiches, burgers and a couple of salads. Most of the food appears to be fried. Breakfast is cut off around 1130 for lunch. Service was pretty good and then they got busy. The decor and overall feel is oldie type with the same music. They have shakes and waffles for sweets along with some cookies.
