Staff were helpful and friendly. Drinks were fine, nothing special. Tried some food, probably wouldn’t order any again though. The bathrooms were small and the sink was out in the bar area on the wall which was a little odd. Good option if you’re looking for a neighborhood dive bar.

Super cute, cosy atmosphere with cute and quirky details to boot.
At first, I thought the prices were a bit steep (especially for brunch) but once I saw the portion size and tasted how good it was, I immediately took back my initial judgement. The food came out piping hot, incredibly well seasoned, and looked BEAUTIFUL. I wasnt expecting such delicious or good looking food from what I initially thought was a dive-bar kind of place.
They were even willing to make accommodations for my diet, which I’m super grateful for – so if you’re vegetarian/vegan, know that there’s at least one thing on the menu (thats not a veggie burger!!!! Yay!!!)at any point during the day – and its delicious.
Music wasnt too loud, heat wasnt blasting like crazy, and the environment was super laid back and cozy.
They have a great variety of some hard-to-find local craft beers as well, which was a pleasant surprise. You can grab them to go from their fridges up front, or enjoy them there.
One of my favourite things about this place is that there’s a modified vending machine near the kitchen, full of various creations from local artists, shops, and more with a wide variety of items (from mystery trinkets boxes, to handmade jewelry) at a pretty big range of price points.
It was such a fun and unique touch to the space that I got multiple things from it – it felt good to be able to support the artists who had their items featured, and it was a fun and whimsical little addition to an already wonderful experience.
I would highly recommend going here if you enjoy a laid back, artsy venue with delicious food, great service and a bit of whimsy.

The Comet is Cincinnati’s overall best bar. They have no televisions and that is the point. Rock shows, drag shows, reggae, hip hop, bluegrass, rockabilly, improv, standup, all of it. All are welcome and everybody has a blast. Great burritos too!

We frequented Comet when visiting my sister. Sunday brunch was absolutely delightful. Staff is friendly. We also went on Monday evenings for tacos and margaritas – just delicious. I miss Comet… can’t find any similar experience where I live.

My partner and I have been coming here on Sundays for brunch for over a year and I’m never going to tire of the Country Benny. Omg. It’s pure bliss. He gets something different every time. Sometimes the Chicken & Waffles, sometimes a Hot Mess. He experiments while I dance in my seat while eating the most perfect homefries ever. Everyone who works there is great. Professionally run but is also warm, comfortable.

I normally have a great experience here, I come here frequently for shows. I always tip well. Except for last night. That’s because the woman bartending had an attitude as soon as we walked in. I asked her what kind of mocktail and she rudely showed me to the soda fridge that I already knew was there. That’s not a mocktail but ok, so I got a cream soda trying to be nice and I said thank you. I walked away for not even 5 seconds over to look at the pool table while she was making another drink cause she told me I was not aloud to touch the fridge and she hadn’t gotten the drink out yet. Then she loudly and rudely yelled “do you want your drink or??” So I walked back up and apologized she just looked at me and said “three dollars” then I asked if she could pit it on my friend tab since he was paying then she rolled her eyes at me and said she didn’t know. I went to ask my friend about it and came back and she once again rudley said three dollars. I asked her to please put it on my friends tab and she rolled her eyes again then finally put it on the tab. Then later in the night my friend went up to the bar and she asked for a vodka Red Bull, she said they don’t have red bull which is okay, then my friend asked what they had and the bartender said “I’m not going to list them” and then my friend came back to the table. Very rude and disrespectful. Funnily enough everytime a man was at the bar the bartender was screeching and laughing jumping up and down clapping and yelling. I’m unsure what happened because I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an experience like this.

Food was delicious, ate outside, service was friendly, I got the queso I ordered in addition to my nachos so I had wet cheese to all over myself but that’s more a me problem with delicious messy food

Great casual spot for tacos, burritos, chips and salsa. A nice selection of canned craft beer as well as some good options on tap.
Tuesday is bike night and it’s a decent sized crowd but don’t let that scare you away, it’s a great crowd and a great mix of bikes and people. Think cars and coffee, not Rabbit Hash.
We didn’t have any issues with wait times getting drinks at the bar or getting food from the kitchen. Will definitely be back!

Always a good vibe to be had at the Comet. The drinks are always great, the food slaps all day every day, and the music and is always electric. The atmosphere at the Comet is untouched and there is always a great time to be had regardless of the night.

Wayne is lovely. The brunch is the best in the city on a Sunday morning and there’s always a show or well curated juke box to keep you entertained. Been coming here for 20 years and hope to be coming for 20 more!
