Okay food, nothing spectacular. Salad was small and there was hardly any grilled chicken on it which was very disappointing. My daughter did not like her grilled cheese sandwich at all. Gave it three stars because the hot wings are pretty good as well as the sweet tea. Would go back for the wings but that’s about it.

Had a reservation for a party of 12 on a Friday evening. We were seated immediately and the waitress was very friendly. That’s where the good experience ended. The entrees were served to some at the table, while others never arrived at all. I did notice that other tables received their food and left while we waited. I spoke with the owner/manager and he advised there had been a problem of some sort in the kitchen and offered free desserts, which I declined. Waited for about 1 1/2 hours and when the last 2 or 3 entrees had not arrived, I asked for the check. To be fair, they took half of the total bill off of the check. I hope that for the good of Waverly, local businesses like the Tavern succeed and wish them the best, but I won’t be returning anytime soon. Hopefully, the owner will be able to resolve the kitchen issues and they will do well.

I love this place! The steaks and fried chicken are awesome. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. My server Jasmine was amazing and very attentive. Bring the whole family and grandma too!

It had good wings, big wings. The steak was chewy, and the tenders are meh. Very, Very slow service. Maybe it’s because of Valentine’s day but very slow service (50 minutes) Over all, semi good. depends on what you order.
