Social Profile:

Our brewery has a well-documented predisposition for all things weird (…and gruesome, and irreverent, and punk rock… This is craft beer, after all.). And while those interests played an active role in bringing The Coffin Bar…to life…the real stake in the ground was set when our crew visited the 60-year-old haunt and realized the bar was shaped like, you guessed it, a coffin. Eccentric, intimate, and fearlessly fresh, The Coffin Bar lifts up seasonal, approachable comfort food, doubles down on some adventurous takes on familiar libations, and, of course, offers a killer lineup of craft brews from a certain award-winning brewery. Whether you celebrate good, evil, life, or death, you can always raise a glass at The Coffin.

The Coffin Bar is INCREDIBLE. The chicken cutlet sandwich was so perfectly crispy, and the flavor was unreal, the hot honey and slaw, amazing. I can also confidently say these were the best fries I ever had. Our server David gave great recommendations and was super on top of everything. We loved this place. Just solid, easy service that makes you want to come back. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Awesome space, super friendly staff, and great food! Last minute large party that I needed a reservation for and they were more than happy to accommodate us even with some last minute changes. They had some great vegetarian options which was an awesome surprise and the bartender made me an amazing mocktail! So happy with our experience there!

I’ve been following this bar on Insta since it opened. We finally made the pilgrimage this weekend and it did not disappoint. Matt, our server made us feel like a regular. He explained the menu and drink selection and made sure we had a great time. Can’t wait to come back and if you’re in the area, stop in, you won’t be disappointed. Such a vibe in there!

Such a great and quirky place to visit and take oit of town guests. Great staff and they have a fantastic assortment of fun cocktails. Love their shots – we did the Heaven, Hell, Death and Afterlife. So much fun watching peoples faces after drinkong the Death shot. The food is pretty tasty also. Overall, a fun place to hang out.

Stopped in on a whim while in the area and we were not disappointed! Loved the vibe and the server was so friendly! The drinks and food were FANTASTIC. 10/10 recommend the kimchi fries and coffin burger. Opted for a side salad with the lemon poppy vinaigrette, which was tasty as hell. Also…that prickly pear pink drink (I forget the name, lol) was SO GOOD. I will absolutely be back when Im in the area again!

First time at the coffin bar and I have got to say it was a great! We would definitely come back here again. The vibe was chill (definitely loud because the great music was bumpin). Clientele definitely was not what I expected for a place called the “coffin bar” but it was a huge range of different people there so don’t feel like you’d be out of place if that is a factor at all in you coming to try this place! The food is great, we ordered smash-burgers and salmon along with kimchi fries appetizer and bao buns with pork belly. Recommend all dishes I just mentioned. As for the drinks…that H3ll shot was nastyyy but definitely something worth trying if you’re curious and want to do it with friends! We tried to ask what was in it and they told us “we actually can’t discuss that with you” LOL just adds to the fun. Waitress was super nice and checked on us when she could. It was almost a full house but not all tables were taken when we came at 6:30pm. I would make it 5/5 stars if the kitchen/service was faster but other than that no issues. Will be returning again in the future!

We stopped here for drinks and an appetizer and were not disappointed at all! You can tell the owner absolutely had a vision and they executed it perfectly! From the coffin shaped bar, old church lights, alter, skull glass lights in the window, gargoyles outside, themed menu, all the way down to the etching in the bar.. it was all so well thought out! Drinks were delicious, and the goat balls were out of this world! We cannot wait to come back on our next trip to Lancaster and try more of their food and drinks.

I had a really good first experience at the Coffin Bar. As it’s a byproduct of Springhouse Brewery, the interior is loaded with all things spooky, including the pentagram wallpaper and skull light fixtures. The food menu is constantly rotating but the quality is always top-notch. Try to go when you can actually enjoy a boozy drink. They have several tap beers that range in all types of styles. I think the mixed drinks are outstanding. A really solid experience.
