If you’re looking for a hometown greasy spoon experience, you will love this place. Very relaxed atmosphere. Makes you feel like you’re eating from Grandma’s kitchen. Good prices and portion sizes. Food also comes out quickly. The food was good. I felt like some of it could’ve been a little bit better quality ingredients, but I do not regret the experience. The wait staff was super kind and welcoming. They also have housemade bread.

What a great establishment! We were in town for a wedding and found this local historical breakfast spot! Be aware, it is cash and check only. Food portions are huge and unique, so delicious… and the Bloody Mary’s & Maria’s are the bomb! Plus, you can add on little mini shooter beers! Talk about awesome… I wish I had this in Ohio!

We had a wonderful experience at the Coffee Pot restaurant in Kenosha Wisconsin! We were there with a group of six and while there was a bit of a wait, it was totally worth it! We had the biscuits and gravy, Great! the Omnivore omelette had lots of fresh vegetables. We also had the  Carnivore omelette with gluten-free toast. The gluten-free toast was light and warm, and the gluten free pancakes were excellent, served warm and fluffy and Light.
We also had the Reuben omelette; it had a generous portion of very lean corned beef and a nice portion of  eggs. The atmosphere was cute and very country.

First time eating here. The cinnamon roll was recommended from the waitress for the table and was disappointing, was very very dry and not much flavor. I think the cook needs lessons on how to fry eggs. I ordered over easy and the whites were brown and crispy? The jalapeños sausage was butterflied and fried to almost burnt? The Carnitas platter and the breakfast bowl looked very good that the other people at our table got.

Super cute! I have been dying to go there and finally this visit to Kenosha was my time. During the summer they have a great outdoor area which is dog friendly when open. The inside is also very cool! They have a horseshoe bar. First of all… BRING CASH! We did not know this so we had to use the ATM inside which is $2.00 along with any bank fees that may apply. They also serve alcohol, such as Bloody Marys and Mimosas so it makes a great breakfast place. The food? It was good, not great.

Went for breakfast on our way home from Illinois. There was a line of people waiting to get seated. We said we would sit at the bar and there happened to be two seats available so we got right in.
We were greeted right away by our waitress and given menus. We ordered the Veggie Bennie (vegetable Benedict) from the regular menu and Bountiful Breakfast Bowl from their special menu.
The Bowl came out first. Waiting…waiting for my Bennie. It did finally come. The poached eggs were done perfectly but were the only warm items on the plate. Everything else was luke cool including the toast.
Despite that I would go back to this restaurant and try again. The staff were very friendly.
There is also an area outside to sit when weather is favorable.

A true, classic breakfast joint and a local favorite. We had the corned beef hash and the herbivore omelette, both were very good! Recommend the homemade toast. Classic diner fair and good service. Our coffee cups never ran dry!

If you’re seeking a slice of Americana, the diner breakfast experience, the coffee pot is an outstanding choice. Rock, solid food, interesting and personable staff and a setting that feels like a page from a pleasant past.

Unfortunately my omelet was fairly bland. The Carnivore Omelet sounds good, however it lacked flavor, I added jalapeños, and yet very little flavor. The hash browns were decent, but the highlight was the homemade toast and coffee. Maybe some of the other dishes are better, good luck.

Also this is a cash only establishment, I believe they have an ATM ON-SITE. I fortunately had cash on hand so jot really a big deal.
