If you’re looking for a bar that actually feels like a bar — THIS IS IT. The energy here is so authentic, you can tell immediately that the people working here genuinely care about the vibe and the experience. Huge shoutout to Alex, Kris and Esteban behind the bar.
Nothing is rushed — every drink is made with intention, and it shows. Whether you want something classic or something adventurous, they nail it every time.
The security is top notch keeps everything in check and safe in a fun way too!!! Great people

We were here on a Wednesday night and they were giving Salsa dancing lessons. The music and atmosphere was fun. The biggest surprise is our visit was the charcuterie we ordered. By far the best we have had. They have made it where you can make your own.

The Cocktail Club is one of those rare spots that actually lives up to the phrase “craft cocktails.” Every drink feels thought-out and unique, and the bartenders clearly take pride in what they create. You can tell they’re not just mixing drinks but building something original every time.
Esteban deserves special mention. He’s one of the most welcoming and genuinely friendly bartenders I’ve met anywhere. He has a way of making you feel right at home while still keeping things professional and smooth. His drinks are consistently top-notch and refreshing in their creativity.
Chris and Alex are excellent as well, always on their game with both service and presentation. And if you like spirit-forward cocktails, ask for one of Eric’s Monte Carlos. It’s bold, rich, and perfectly balanced, easily one of the best versions of that drink around.

Really cool spot with one of the best ‘regular’ Old Fashions I’ve ever had. I did have to specify that I wanted a big ice cube which seemed a bit odd, but they were accommodating. The lounge area is cozy with exposed beams and brick, plenty of comfortable seating options. Try to get there early, live music was set to start at 10pm and the place was filling up. It was pricey, but that’s downtown Charleston.

The atmosphere was very eclectic and unique. You walk upstairs and get a warehouse feel/older mid-construction. There are walls sectioning everything off, but just the bones, not the wall. Low lights and different styles of furniture further set the mood. There’s also an outdoor patio that must be reserved for special events because it was kind of hidden and vacant.
I had the Certified Loverboy. I’m not a fan of Mezcal though, so they swapped out tequila. It was so good!!! The passionfruit paired with the dill was doing it for me!!! 100% get again.
Hubby had The Stay at Home Dad and seemed to enjoy it.
I’d definitely hit this place up for Happy Hour! Drinks were in the $15 range.

The Cocktail Club is a must-visit in downtown Charleston. The drinks are creative, well-balanced, and clearly made by people who know what they’re doing. The rooftop vibe is perfect for a night out, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Great spot for date night or drinks with friends. Highly recommend.

This is one of my favorite spots in the city. The band that was playing on Thursday was superb – as a musician, I really appreciate their level of talent and creativity. The drinks and bartenders’ service were excellent. One really important aspect to a place like this for me is that I could sit in an area where the setting feels social, the volume is well balanced for conversation without yelling, and it’s the right amount of busy. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

The vibe of this location is great. Mood lighting, leather seats and couches. They have a rooftop patio as well but it was too crowded to go up there. It takes quite some time to get drinks as there is only one bar and though they appeared to have 3-4 bartenders only 1 was really making drinks.
The drinks themselves were just average. I definitely like the vibe more than the drinks. Not sure I would return on the future, just an average bar.
