Recently moved to the area from West Coast and had company visiting in from out of town, so we were frantically looking for somewhere unique to take them. We absolutely hit the jackpot with The Cocktail Bar! Great and clean atmosphere, amazing staff who took the time to explain the unique drinks we ordered as they made them. Dottie, who was our mixologist, was so friendly and fun to order from and explained step by step every dribk we ordered. It was the best old-fashion I have ever had. This is definitely a place to visit, and prices were reasonable. We will definitely always stop here whenever we have friends and family visiting.

Really cute little bar in Parkersburg’s downtown area. The cocktails were a very reasonable price with $5 cocktail hours. The food was also well priced and the portions were big. The staff was also very friendly.

My spouse and I attended for the first time for their New Year’s Eve dinner. They had a beautifully crafted menu with plenty of different options for the bourbon with a few excellent choices for an upgrade. Our food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and one of the best places we’ve ate in town. Their environment was super calm, inviting, and had soft music playing in the background. Our server Garrett was super helpful with any questions that we had and was super fast to get us anything that we needed. Dottie our bartender was super friendly , very energetic, and super knowledgeable. We also really liked how the owner Zach made sure to check on us to make sure we were having a good time, and that we liked how everything turned out. We definitely plan to return in the near future and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
