Fish sandwich was very good! Like , really good ! Haluski and Mac & cheese were good. I got boneless wings for my son . Very good and big boneless wings. The fish sandwich was cooked perfectly , crunchy , flakey and just super satisfying , the cocktail sauce tasted like it’s. house made. Fantastic!!

The French fries… OMG. Stop. Over cooked. Soggy. Gross. I’d honestly rather lick the bottom of an ashtray. The fish sandwich was average at best and not a good value.

Fish sandwich and sides were amazing. Especially the Mac n Cheese. I could taste the different cheeses in it. Fish was huge and meaty!!! Bartenders were on point A+++

Great prices, amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere. Went here for my buddy’s birthday. It was karaoke night as well. The dj was awesome and the bartender was great. The funnel cake fries were crisp and delicious.

Kasra, our host and server, met us as we walked in very cold and confused. He was welcoming, kind and very hospitable. The food was generous, fresh and delicious. We had the chicken mushroom pie and the lovely berry apple crumble.

The Coal Mine is an awesome place. Whether you are just looking for a cold beer or some good food, the Coal Mine is a great choice! The atmosphere is welcoming & comfortable. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! The food is outstanding. A side note- It’s my opinion that during Lent, the Coal Mine has the finest fish sandwiches & fries in town!

The bartenders were amazing! The wings (if to go) were disappointing. Plain wings dumped into sauce to go… I’ll stick with Wiggy’s in Greentree next time.

Some of the bartenders are great and some of them are just plain lazy. Tried to order a cider to be told they didn’t have any other than Angry Orchard in bottles. When I asked about the one on draft, she said they didn’t have it. When I asked about one of the other drinks on the screen, she said they don’t update those screens and they didn’t have that either…before I could even remember the name. Came in the next day and got those drinks from another bartender just fine. The wings are pretty good and I enjoyed the friendliness of the crowd and the owner.

Pizza was good, but definitely disappointed in the size of the pizza. It was supposed to be a 8 cut medium, but it was really small, maybe 8-9″. We also got hoagies, they were on the small size as well, maybe 6″, but they tasted good. I want to go back and try their wings.
